How do you possibly not be needy when you are starting out? I take relatively good care of myself. Could be better but im slowly starting to cut out all that doesnt serve me in my life. Im about 6 months away from starting my career. Only have two real friends but neither of them are about the same life I am (both are just cool with being ok; fine for them but not my thing). The thing I'm having real difficulty with is going out there and making friends/being social and seduction. So in this regard, how do can I possibly be non-needy when Im starting out and I've been reading all this stuff for two years but havent consistently done much about it. I dont want to sound whiny but I feel like Im stuck where Im tired of reading all this stuff but im too scared to "break out of my shell." Lately I've been looking at people, holding eye contact and saying hi, hello whatever. Not nervous doing this like I used to be so thats some progress I suppose but damn, I feel like at this point 2 years after discovering all this seduction/pickup stuff I should be much farther along. The thing that haunts me is that I've had probably close to 20 non-verbal invitations to approach, a handful which were embarrassingly obvious, but I've always chickened out. I just cant figure out whats holding me back.
