What's the difference between approaching someone and hitting on a girl?

Isn't it the same thing honestly?

Approaching is basically straight out of the dictionary. Walking up to a girl. This technically doesn't even include opening. Hitting on a girl = flirting. Flirting can happen anytime, even before you've approached.

What's the point of this question? Putting names to these things doesn't change your ability to do them or not do them.

It's not "intent." Hitting on a girl can happen anytime, even at a distance without having approached, technically.

Also, do you realize that it's ridiculous to say that simply walking up to a stranger will lead to people thinking you're crazy? This is false.
If this were true then few people would ever meet new people and making new friends would be stupidly complicated. But it's not complicated.

"Intent?" What does that mean to you, really? In any case, NO you don't have to show some sort of intent, which I assume means something like "sexual intent."

You are talking about people you don't even know, so the issue of "intent" is getting WAY ahead of yourself. That's like handing a car salesman a blank check before you've even looked at the cars on his lot.

Your "intent" is discovery. Discovering what new people are like. And maybe someone you meet actually IS interesting. And maybe they find you interesting also and you're getting along. Then you take it from there.... physically escalating or swapping numbers or whatever. A lot of things can happen from that point after you find that you get along.

I am so inexperienced with kino that I think I'd be bad at it and wouldn't go anywhere. But I have to do it if I want to get laid I guess.

You make it sound like kino isn't fun. I guess it might be anxiety inducing, but it SHOULD be part of the fun, actually.

And anyway, if you're "bad" at it, there are worse things you could to than nutting up and taking a social partner dance class. Like Salsa, Lindy hop, Argentine tango, West coast swing. Really, we're basically talking about classes that teach social confidence and comfortable, smooth kino skills.

It's actually quite an interesting question in a way.

Over the years, 'game' has kind of got away from methods and lines and techniques, and is all about 'inner game'. Being your best self. ''What you say doesn't matter'' etc

People on forums always say ''I ran my game on her'', but if you were to look at the interaction, it'd just be him asking her questions about her life, and just them having a normal conversation.

I guess the only difference between 'game' and just 'talking too a girl' is kino, and maybe statements of intent

The difference is the sexual intent. Furthermore, you shouldn’t put sexual intent before knowing you are “good to do so”, ie: That the protection/fear barrier is crossed.
