I’ve never had money. I might pay for the first few dates, then I’m honest about not having the funds to go out and offer to cook for here.

I had a date last week. Paid for dinner just out of politeness and she said we should have split it and seemed a little offended or annoyed that I did that without talking about it first.

I explained I thought it would be rude of me to even bring up the bill as I asked her out and she said that she probably should have said at some point that she prefers to pay for herself.

So I'm considering having a brief conversation about who pays with the next girl but idk if this chick was just different 🤔

Maybe focus on becoming financially stable before dating. Girls will come along in time once you get some money, typically not the other way around.
