NO. Text her the morning of the date and tell her “my plans haven’t changed btw, i’ll see at (insert time here)”. Then wait for her response and when she confirms she’s on her way to the date spot, go from there.

A lot of guys make the mistake of thinking they have to constantly text a girl, whether its constant good mornings & good nights, sending memes or asking “wyd?” etc.

All of that is wack. Just chill. You get to know the girl in person, use texting to set dates to meet up that’s it. And occasionally call her for like 5 minutes to see how she’s doing and then tell her you got a busy day so you’ll check up on her another time, then hang up.

That lets a woman know you’re not needy, you have things to do with your life which means you’re not a loser like most guys, and that you dont want to bombard her with unnecessary attention & care about her space.
