Where do I begin?

I feel as if I as a young male in his 20s with no game makes an approach I'd be shut down simply for lacking experience.

Well, how do you think you're going to get experience?

Kobe Bryant had to miss a lot of shots when he first started out in order to learn how to make them. Making mistakes is 100% okay! You just gotta learn from them.

Disconnect your identity from your approaches. When a girl rejects you, it's not like she's rejecting the core of who you are. Don't identify with rejection. You are not your results.

What should you do? When you do an approach, as yourself what worked and what didn't. Maybe you were being authentic, so the approach went well (which is what generally happens). Maybe you were being needy, so the approach didn't go well (which is what generally happens).

IMO, don't look at rejection as something that the girl is doing to you. That's a victim mentality, not a winner mentality. I personally look at rejection as, "what mistake did I make so that I can learn from it". I personally find it empowering, because it allows me to be responsible for my actions and results. It allows me to improve. If I look at rejection as something being done to me, it takes away my power to improve because I'm looking at it as something out of my control.

(I'm not saying you should blame yourself if you get rejected. Being responsible and blaming yourself are two different things. And besides, sometimes you're going to get rejected no matter what. Maybe the girl is in a bad mood, and she'll say "no" to everyone. You really don't know. But at the very least, you can improve your chances of success by being responsible for yourself)

Keep taking action. Go to parties, socialize with friends, and approach women. Escalate, close, etc. When you run into a speed bump, ask yourself, "what can I do to improve on that?" If you're stumped, post here.

Act as though it were impossible to fail. Success begins in the mind, brother. You don't need drugs to fix your depression. I'll tell you how I got out of my depression and gained confidence: Eat right, exercise. Those two things change the chemistry in your brain. Take an honest assessment of yourself. Why don't you get the respect and attention you want? What distinguishes you? Why should a girl pick you over other guys? I asked myself these questions and started working out, taking calculus lectures in my spare time, reading heavy novels, going out to enjoy my city more. Your preferred activities might be different, but you gotta work on yourself and build up your market value. Now, when I walk into an establishment, I know, as a logical objective fact, even if it's just in my imagination and mindset, that I am the best man that place has to offer, because 99% of the men in there don't have my work ethic or IQ. You can read that as a douchey statement, but it helps me be confident knowing I have a better body and am smarter than everyone else.
