Ok, I was out tonight drinking with some friends just having a good time at a bar with a DJ, now I have taught myself how to dance and got some great responses on the dance floor, but thats not what I was interested in, I wasn't trying to open any sets tonight instead I was just enjoying my group of friends. At the end though one of my best friends (who also makes a great wingwoman) points out a set of 3 (a 9 an 8 and a 7) who were apparently giving me the eye and I was too tipsy to notice. After I asked my group for a quarter this is what went down.

I approached the group and asked them to hold the quarter for me while doing a simple slight of hand false pass and sleeved the quarter. I then walked back to my group leaving the women a little speechless. After a few moments I went back and asked for my quarter back, to which they all told me it was in my sleeve, so I pulled my sleeves up and convinced them it wasnt in there. One put out here hand and said "c'mon give us the quarter" and I responded by shaking her hand and saying "hi my name is Jim...Oh you wanted the quarter my bad, this is what happens when Im drinking oh well" then I unsleeved the quarter and pass it to my right hand to make it appear as if I pull it out of the 8's hand. the 8 and the 7 are amazed and the 9 calls me on pulling it out of my sleeve and says she saw me, and I reply by saying "shush noone likes you when you start noticing things, just enjoy it and have fun" and surprisingly they all laughed. Of course the next thing out of their mouth was "what other tricks do you know!?" and of course I've put myself in the corner of the entertainment, so I reply with "I don't do tricks, Dogs and hookers do tricks, I just make quarters dissapear around gorgeous women." They all giggle a little bit and the 8 touches me on the shoulder, then I draw a blank and realize I'm just way to drunk to pull it off any further, so I pull out and tell them I just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi, and tell them to have a good night.

I'm sure if I was 100% sober I could have continued conversation, but of course like I said I wasn't. I'm just curious as to what I could have done differently and/or done to continue the conversation. Just a little feedback would be awesome. Also, yes I am still tipsy, but I wanted to ask before I forgot too.
