Where to start

Start with reading one the books recommended on this subreddit (use search) and reading the sidebar.

Little by little you'll start to understand more and start to implement the material you read into your daily life.

Sidebar. Read it. Then immediately take action. Make a healthy change in your lifestyle. In my opinion "Models" is almost anything you need to know about Inner Game and the sidebar really adds to it. Read the top posts. Once again, take action.

If you have a friend who wants to improve his life too, get him into the boat. Start being social from now on. Knowledge is valuable, but action is king.

What are your sticking points and your biggest problems right now? Think about it detailed and make plans how to fix it.

Spend a lot of time outside of your house, with your phone off, and no book or anything with you. Force yourself to get out there that way.

As your out there, use a social ladder. Start out by asking functional questions to any type of person male or female, not ones your attracted to. Ex: "Excuse me my phone died, do you know what time it is?".

Then go into stores and chat with female employees. Ex:"What's a shirt you think would look good on me?".

Then pay girls not as attractive to you and/or out of your age range compliments. Ex: "That's a really nice jacket."

Then go to girls you would actually want to go out with open and try to close them "Hey.. i just saw you, thought you looked nice and thought I'd come chat with you.."

I posted this to another thread, but I think it can help you as well:

Ugh... Theory is overrated. I mean yeah, there is some things that can help if you're not in touch with your instincts... Want to make a connection, learn about eye contact. Want to kiss, learn to look at her lips as a signal... etc etc. but honestly, your vibe... how you're feeling at the moment, is so much more important. And your intent... You let her know your interested in her romantically and you're being fun... It's over. You win.

However if you want some actual guidelines, look up videos on youtube. Sasha Daygame is really fun to watch, but a little hard to emulate because he's so far into it. James Marshall too, but nobody but James Marshall can pull off being 007 to get girls. Good places to look for understanding how to take the steps necessary, look up:
Johnny Berba - He's awkward, but comfortable with it. A great watch because he's obviously not a natural people person.
Hayley Quinn - Her older stuff, she liked to talk about indirect method, but she made a transition to a direct game coach. A lot of her work with this kid with a speech impediment is absolute gold.
Alpha M - Pretty much all exposition, but as for style tips, he's pretty spot on. And guys starting out don't realize how important style is to first impressions.
