Why does she stop responding mid convo, not start it back up again unless I do, but watches my stories and likes my posts?

Hey man, we've all been there, so you're in good company. It's clear that you are being a gentleman by continuing to initiate conversations, but she's not being 'lady-like' back to you by at least giving a prompt reply to you asking her out on previous occasions. This shows poor communication skills on her part, or even worse, such a lack of respect for you that she can't even be bothered to reply to you. No matter how much you like these types of women, they will never truly respect you. Her ego is probably being stroked right now by you inviting yourself to be stringed along by her, giving her all the attention without her having to give anything to you. To be fair to her, if she broke up only a month ago, then it does take time to move on and be ready to date again, but that is still no excuse to be a poor communicator.

I agree with asking her one last time, but be direct and confident and only do that if you really like her and are not just infatuated by her. Ideally, mention that some cool event is happening that you'd like her to come with you to attend. If she says no, then tell her to let you know if she changes her mind, otherwise move on. In fact, go to that event anyways because it's super dope and you don't need no woman to enjoy yourself ;) .

You're only 18 and probably going to be entering college soon. You are literally going to meet hundreds of girls just like her. Quite frankly, there is probably nothing special about her so don't give her too much thought if she won't at least do the same for you.

A note about texting: too much texting kills romance. You mention that you and her were texting every day for some time. Instead of her getting to know you in person, she got to know all about you through text, so that actually took away all the 'mystery' she had about you. You put the burden on yourself to keep an engaging conversation going which is very difficult to do if you have other things to do besides chasing girls. I'd binge watch Coach Corey Wayne's material for more justification on why this isn't a good idea.

A general note about attraction/dating: this is what I've learned through my (good and bad) dating experiences and being in your shoes where I chased some girls that weren't as interested in me as I was in them. I realized the media and society in general is teaching the wrong thing, which is to chase the girl. No, what I've learned now is that you need to become a 'black hole'. In other words, become so attractive (physically, socially, financially, etc.) that girls are incredibly drawn to you. My best relationships have come from this. The girls I enjoyed the most was when I was the best version of myself and putting myself out there in social situations, not from when I was desperately trying to keep a conversation going, for instance, with a random on a dating app. In a year from now, she would have missed the rocket ship that is you who is now doing 10x better in life, while she is still doing flip-flop conversations with the guys she meets!

You texted too much bro. You killed any chance of her sleeping with you. Now shes gonna view you as annoying or even worse... her gay Male boyfriend. Dont be that guy. Anyway, she sounds like an attention whore, for her, you're just the guy she texts when shes bored. Talk to other women. If she had any interest at all, she'll text you first out of curiosity.. they all do when you start socializing and dating more beautiful women.

As hard as it is to hear... girls like this do these things by liking your posts and shit like that so you 'think' they're into you. Shes stringing you along, leading you on, putting you on the back burner, whatever the fuck you wanna call it. Its disrespectful and shes wasting your time. She is not into you.

Blow her off after she texts you to see what you're up to when you start talking and dating other women. Match that girls energy. Do what she did to you back to her, it'll confuse the shit out of her. Why? Cause shes so use to you being a pussy, Her little doormat that she can use to wipe the shit off her feet whenever she feels like it.

Start acting like a man and stop putting up with her bullshit. When she sees this change in you, you'll probably never hear from her again, cause she cant mindfuck you or manipulate you the way she use to which you shouldn't give a shit about anyway, she sounds like a bitch...or she'll probably wonder about you and why you've changed so drastically, and actually want to get to know why. This is when you shift the dynamics, instead of you chasing her, she is now chasing you. Stay away from girls like this. They play too much and do nothing but waste your time. Trust me.

Some might say I'm an asshole, fuck it. I hate women who do this mind fucking bullshit. Flip it right back.

because you've shown to her you can only text and little else.

you don't pose any challenge for her and killed the mystery. it's also very evident she has little romantic interest in you. she makes excuses or twists her reply to you everytime you make an offer. just leave her alone
