When I first started going out on my own I had baby steps. Just say hi. Extend hi into how are you? Extend that to what’s your name?

In the beginning I would straight up be like “hello!” “Hey!” Then walk away. I was that nervous. I learned though once you get past “hello” the fear or whatever goes away.

I agree with Ddub4. Just take baby steps. Just by gathering the courtage and say "hi" is massive, because once you have done that it is much easier to just say it again the next time. Eventually you will get more comfortable and expand on it.

PS.

Here is a little mental tip I can share with you. It helps if you "imagine" (whatever girl you wanna talk to) that she is a really good friend. Might help you to relax a little since one doesn't really get nervous around a friend, but comfortable insted.

Tell her the seat you’re on is really uncomfortable and you need to slide over.

You’ll need to follow it up with buying a round to dull the pain of the old seat.
