Stop worrying about trying to make a good first impression, and you'll make a good first impression. If you keep trying to get people to like you (i.e. seek approval), you may come off as friendly, but still slightly needy.

Material goods don't make you unique. It's your personality, overall worldview, etc. that make you unique. It sounds like you're wearing that stuff for other people, not really for yourself. That's fake.

I will sort of concur with DreadMe; a great first impression is one in which the other person will be baffled by something, and a confident demeanour is definitely a great place to start. Stand up straight, shake hands properly if you are talking to a man (or go in for a hug if you are talking to a woman), take up a lot of space, and have great body language. I don't think peacocking (some of those things you mention is a bit up this alley) will get you very far - and if it will, you will have to be consistent with what you are showcasing and who you truly are.

Peacocking only works if you are comfortable in doing so. If you do it with the strict focus of attention, and not because you find it fun, people will see through it.

Also, judging from your description, i feel that if i met you i would have a negative preconception about you, because i feel you would look desperate for attention. The coloured eye-linses really gets me on this point. It's just over-the-top. A funky hat is usually enough.

There is one thing you can do to make you stand out far from the crowd, and make you more attractive than all your gadgets:

in all honesty i think your look isnt as good as youd think. i think some dude with colored hair and eyes?! looks not like a man id want to go to bed or anywhere.

id prefer a classy look, not boring but still unique in some way.

In the event that you are quite serious: Get rid of the headband. Colored hair is fun, if you enjoy it, keep it. The more "stuff" you throw on top, the more it looks like you're in a costume, or you're a crazy person. You want to stay consistent with yourself and the image you put forth. If you want to keep the contacts, fine, but you should dress otherwise completely normal, which will draw extra attention to the features you've decided to accentuate.

Furthermore, I'm getting the impression that you're not comfortable with your appearance. Honestly, it doesn't really matter to other people how you look, but if you're not comfortable in your own skin, you're going to look like a chode. Get a haircut, shave daily or every few days (depending on how fast you grow), get well-fitting shirts.

Be funny or extremely confident either too work, but if you lack good looks it will be more difficult but no impossible. Accept who you are don't try to be like anyone else and be happy with your existence and it comes naturally.
