Thought I'd ask here, 'cause redditors generally have better ideas than the yahoo answerers =P So the basic situation- Girl I'm attracted to. Had 2 or 3 classes together last semester, got her number before spring break but barely texted at all. Didn't text at all over the summer, and even during and after the classes we rarely talked.

Thing is, I'm attracted to her. If I wasn't, I probably wouldn't have any issues talking to her XD This semester, the only class we have together is choir, so can't even ATTEMPT talking during the practice. Afterwards, she always leaves pretty quickly, and oftentimes calls someone on her phone, leaving me almost no room to try and strike up a conversation.

So, here's where I stand- NOT close at all. Want to start conversation without being awkward or creepy. I have her phone number and facebook. I want to do things the "right" way and keep stuff face-to-face as much as possible, yet at the same time the only window of time I have for this (a few seconds/minutes on mondays and wednesdays) is being made difficult by her "patterns."

So what do? The most innovative idea I've come up with so far is sending a text right before class ends asking to talk, but I'm still completely unsure as to how I'd phrase it without coming off as too serious/creepy/awkward, considering I don't know her well yet.

EDIT: Not sure if this breached the "one-itis" thing in the FAQ, but I can assure you I get similar problems pretty often, so the general advice will help =P
