This is going to apply more so to those Sedditors looking to find a girl to date, rather than have a one night stand with.

I was reading another thread on AskReddit about a man's experience with his wife who ended up cheating on him with his friend. His story was incredibly similar to one I had with a previous ex of 2 years. For this reason, I thought I would point out some of the yellow (proceed with caution) and red flags (get away now) that I did not see at the time, and others I have discovered since. I have been lurking r/seddit for awhile, and I've gotten a lot of help from many posts here, so I thought I would share something:

Yellow Flags:

  • Ignoring a text that you sent.
  • Showing up late to plans you made.
  • Making you wait almost the whole day to meet up with them.
  • Making plans with a group of friends earlier than plans with you. (Oops! Got drunk by accident and can't drive!)
  • If she thinks guys and girls can be just friends.
  • Always texting you.
  • Self-photo on facebook.

Red Flags:

  • "All my best friends are guys. Girls are too catty and dramatic." That means that SHE is the catty and dramatic one that most girls can't stand. It also means she has hooked up with at least 3 in the circle of friends and dated one.
  • "If you can't handle me at my worst you don't deserve me at my best."
  • Facebook updates about how she is over the guy she has been dating (also that all men are dicks).
  • All her friends are ugly: She is insecure
  • She wears a very slutty Halloween costume
