Gentlemen, this is my 2nd post in this subreddit in hopes of helping again with a warning and a well deserved reality check.

It's January. A new year is upon us, and with that new year comes new years resolutions. One of which for ladies is dating (and finding a boyfriend).

Dating sites will have new members, people will start looking more, and women will be looking for their next date. But with this wave brings an elitest mindset among women on these dating sites: the dreaded, unreasonable high standards that makes a lot of men feel small, unvalued and unqualified.

Women coming into this with unreasonable high standards is a good thing.

If you're looking just for a date, you don't need to care about this because you got more opportunities literally lining up in different avenues so there's more fish fighting for the worm in the pool, but if you're looking for a relationship then this is the best opportunity you have to sift through all the dirt in a quicker way.

You want a connection, something fulfilling and long lasting, not a head and heart ache. Regardless of rejection or dissapointment, this is the time of year to quickly get a reality check of what you want and don't want and not waste time on the unworthy.

I maintain in my mind at all times that I'm literally the best man in the world. My eventual wife will be lucky to have me because I'm gold, any woman who doesn't recognize this is doomed to fool's gold; a silver medal at best. I would give them my pity if they were worth it, but they're not. Only the one you end up with ever is.

So I say this to help you keep focused as this time of year comes even through Valentines day: don't get discouraged. Don't feel worthless. Don't feel frustrated. Don't date with the mindset of "this bitch better not dissapoint" or "what a cunt." This is the best opportunity of the year to discover what you want and don't want. Take advantage of it.

When you feel frustrated with not finding a winner, rememeber trash is more common then treasure, that's why one is valuable and the other is worthless.

But you? You're gold, so always value what you bring with you.

God bless and have have a great 2015, folks.
