And yes, my exwife tried to send her boyfriend to it. I texted her, "nope."

Show up. Just show up and eat donuts with your daughter and don't give your ex a single thing to say about it.

The boyfriend backup plan is wild, tbh. Your kid doesn't even know they're dating and she's floating him as a stand-in for her dad at a school event. That's not a backup plan, that's a statement.

Make sure you are on all the school emails. Sign up for whatever you want without input from ex. For example I sign up to chaperone field trips if I want to.
