Sending settlements back and forth is a WOMBAT: waste of money, brains and time. Set a trial date, then set mediation 6-8 weeks before the trial date. With the threat of trial as a backstop, you can hammer out your entire agreement in a marathon mediation session. Without the trial backstop, expect nothing to get accomplished because there's no incentive for her to settle.

Well,this is the wife of the man asking for your obviously bad advice. Due to the fact that I thought we were being honest with each other and the fact that he was the one sleeping around and brought home a venereal disease,i was trying to basically let him have almost everything so i can get out of the way of the girlfriend moving in. Not to mention being uncomfortable due to the fact I'm already finding her panties and night gowns already in my house. Now that i know that the MDA then trial date deal was a farce to rush my attorney, I no longer want the MDA. Trial it is!!! What a jerk to take the advice of a stranger on how to be deceitful and disrespectful. Well,you are a liar so it's to be expected I guess.
