So first off thank you to whoever reads this and has some experience or advice. My stbx filed a restraining order against me that was denied but we still have a court hearing in a week for her to make her case to the judge. I can prove the statement she made on the document was entirely false . Ex she said I've been around her all the time , following her , harassing her when in fact I left the house every day for long periods of time . There is other false statements but I will spare you guys . I want to charge her with perjury but my lawyer says it is not worth it because even if they know someone lied they will barely convict . I said ok but considering I'm going to have to deal with her for the next 18 years I want her to know she just can't lie and make things up in legal documents that I will come after her in court. I'm still trying to convince him and is there any way I could file charges with my evidence to the police? He also says my voice recording might not be admissable is court . Any suggestions ?
