Hey Ladies,
Not sure if anyone needs this but these things helped me alot on my journey.
- Bubble baths
Relaxing fully and being able to decompress helps you physically, spiritually, and mentally. It empties out whatever has been building and creates space for new and positive energy. Epsom salt is also known to draw out negativity from your body so invest in that!
- Positive Media
Removing negative images from social media, stop watching toxic tv shows, and replace them with positive influence helps create a positive expectation. Once you expect positive things you no longer entertain or accept negative ones.
- Physical Self Care
Taking the time to bleach your teeth, make a DIY face mask or Deep conditioner for your hair allows you to focus on yourself fully and take the time to care for yourself. Seeing the end result is an added bonus!
- Listening to Positive Affirmations and Solfeggio Frequencies
Don't ever underestimate the power of raising your vibration! On a metaphysical level you are above things that would bother you normally, and on a physical level you are actually allowing better energy into your life. You wont see the difference until doing it consistently for a week or so, and if you dont use it you lose it!
- Writing in a Journal or Talking to a Confidante
Writing in a journal is important if youre unsure of where you stand in a situation or if you want to track your progress of your goals. Its really cool to see over time how your thought patterns change after experimenting with different methods of doing something, and growth is something to be proud of!
- Taking Vitamins
One thing Ive struggled with for many years was having energy. I realized that I was really Iron deficient and was lucky enough to find a remedy that worked wonders for me. (Spirulina) I recommend that you make a list of things that you struggle with and seek out a nutritionist or herbalist to help rectify these issues. You will see that you nails look healthier, you feel better, and your mood will be a lot lighter!
- Personal Alone Time
I have a few ways I like to do this. I take baths, walks, write, play games on my phone, draw, etc. Anything you can do alone quietly that allows your mind to wander is good. If you can, try to steer your thoughts in a positive direction.
- Making small daily goals
If you have a fitbit you know that your goal for the day is taking 1000 steps. It sounds like a lot, but living in a busy area will help you shake that off in less than 10 hours. You dont have to make that your goal per se, but something like drink 6 cups of water, or taking a 20 min walk per day is a good goal to start with. Knowing that you can stick to the goal makes you feel good as well.
- Treat yourself!
You work hard, you do all of these things and you are not taking yourself out to eat, why? You haven't gotten a manicure or done your own nails, why? You bought new underwear but haven't worn them yet, why? Don't abuse yourself, treat yourself! Go out to eat once a week, have someone pamper you and get a massage. Make sure that theres at lease one nice thing you do for yourself every week, even if its as small as buying yourself a rose. You're worth it!
- Live a little!
Go to a bar, try a roller slating rink, go to the park, the library, check out a museum, get a deal on Groupon... Whatever you do, try something different! This is also a good way to meet new people!
