Dear xxxxxxxx
We too were very excited to bring you onto the xxxxx team. You have won our hearts with your enthusiasm and love of xxxx justice.
In our sadness missing you from the team, we completely respect your choice to make the best decision for your growth. We would be grateful if you could let us know for our growth how we may have helped you to be part of the team. If it's easier for you, we could have a quick call.
We are leaving the door open for you in case further changing situations allow you to work with us in the future. Further, we would love for you to come to visit us xxxxx sometime in any case. As our visions are aligned, it would be great to stay connected.
Gratefully yours, xxxxx
My message to them after a couple of days passed and I had a nagging feeling that something was off about them. The interview was a video call and very unprofessional and informal. The man referred to his gf as partner was being condescending and spoke over her a few times! Utilising FDS and my own personal growth , I made the decision to next them 1 or 2 days after the video interview.
Dear xxxxxx,
I regret to inform you that due to changing situations, I must renege my acceptance of the xxxxx position at xxxxx. I was really looking forward to working with you both and I wish xxxxx continued success and growth in every facet. I thank you so much for the opportunity and consideration.
Sincerely,
xxxxxx
It wasn't until I received their reply that I got more of that weird feeling and it reminded me lots love bombing from them. Also the tell us why for our growth, yeah so you can pretend to do that to get me or someone else to work for ya? Hell no, you showed your true colors in that weird interview. I have only spoken to them once, never met them in person and they are a wellness organization.
