I (23f) wound up getting myself involved with an emotionally unstable lvm (24m) for 4 months now. Things were going great until he started literally acting crazy. Saying things like we were together in other lives, that he killed barn kittens when he was a kid for fun until his mom stopped him, sending me pictures of his mom(nothing gross just selfies), never stops talking about his DNA ancestry, and every ex he had was "crazy"(all 2 of them). He isn't aware that anything is wrong and I'm scared to pull this rug out from under his feet due to repercussions. Is it appropriate to just ghost him and leave a box of his things on his door step with a note explaining its done? Is that okay? Because I'm fighting my moral compass with this since I'm not the kind of person to do this.
