What's the difference between this sub and /r/TheRedPill

/r/TRP is mostly about understand the dynamics of relationships, men, and women and cutting out the bullshit that we have been fed, and understanding the reason sexual dynamics are what they are.

/r/MGTOW is basically looking at all these things TRP has to offer and saying "Man, screw this!" and taking a step back to focus on yourself. Kind of like realizing the game is rigged, no matter how you look at it, and that it's ultimately only worth spending energy on oneself.

The main difference I've noticed is /r/theredpill expects you to fuck everything that moves in order to validate your personal development.

Mgtow acknowledges that we don't need to have bitches stacked like cordwood to know you're one hell of a man.

I also see them as being far less compassionate. Sure I'm all for being harsh on your bros because that motivates us.. But only when coming from bros. They treat everyone like their bros and it can get pretty overbearing.

I heard in some video recently - If you ask a 8 year old boy if he wants to be with women all his life, he will say no. If you ask a 50 year old man if he wants to be with women all his life, having experienced it all, he might answer 'No'.

So, it's only during certain specific phase of our hormonal/social state that we crave union with a female so much. I heard somewhere (Bill Burr?) that every time you think you are going to do something desperate and stupid to get a girl, rub one out and rethink what you feel about her. ;) It's a joke but it basically points out the same union phase or state of mind I am talking about. It can be pleasurable, of course, but it's nothing more than a hormonal surge (like an addiction).

/r/TRP is about opening your eyes to and navigating that union phase successfully. /r/MGTOW is about unchaining yourself from that desire and becoming its master. At least, that's how I think about it.

TRP is a bunch of douchebros spouting PUA and sociopathic undeserved narcissistic BS to delude themselves into making themselves believe that they are somehow better than everyone else.

From what I've seen this sub is about rejecting the BS from everyone.
