Its really easy actually. Just demand he do what the prophet Elijah did to demonstrate the superiority of Yahweh over Baal. If he comes out with that "old testament doesnt apply" bullshit you can remind him that jesus said the faithful will perform greater miracles than he did. Elijah and the priests Jesus on believers doing miracles Its cruel to be the one to have to tell your parents they're false converts but unless they can do these things.....

Perhaps you see this place in a hopeful but unrealistic eye. There isnt a counterpoint or filtering system here to weed out the rage that most of us felt before discovering mgtow. Instead we have a big bowl of shit and poison that our erstwhile mgtow have to swallow on their path through that rage. We are talking about a philosophy that runs counter to almost every instinct in our bodies and entirely against the broader society. We arent selling pretty things, a PUA handbook, or even real consol…

I'm someone who's mouth is known to get them in trouble, constantly, so I dont ever hold my tongue about mgtow or its ancillary rhetoric. At work I inform men buying condoms and plan B about their lack of reproductive rights and the consequences of being some cunts wage slave. Among friends I remind them of the gun they willingly put against their own heads by courting women. At home I am blessed to have family that actually agrees with me. Like we say in the atheist community "come out if you m…

Perhaps you should not chastise us too harshly for putting people onto their first steps towards mgtow. Reddit is a large place full of, mostly, young men who've spent their lives being indoctrinated by a system that would see them disposed of for others pleasures and protection. This sub is not the be-all-end-all of mgtow, but it does serve as an initial exposure to the world behind a veil. We talk about womens natures, characteristics, and crimes here quite a lot I agree. Perhaps we should spe…

When this kind of legislation passes here I will simply stop believing anyone who makes a claim that they were raped. Since not even a conviction in a court will demonstrate that the claimant has met any burden of proof I cannot, in good conscience, trust that the truth has been discovered. This is what it took to make me consider becoming a full blown rape denialist.

Can we reach these people? Given time they'll reach out to us. We already see evidence of the siege mentality working out in our favor, and we have the impotence of the MRM to show us the folly of actively waging war against these people. As much joy as I would find in seeing a viable and fair public hearing on mgtow the reality I see is not pleasant. Internal refinement and the wholesale rejection of the fight itself has served to get our movement this far. This idea is one based on hope which …

Couldn't MGTOW learn a thing or two about feminism's outreach and marketing to speed its adoption rate? No, because society does not expend excess resources to cater to the suffering, needs, or wants of men in the same way it does for women. Feminisms biggest selling point is its capitalization on female in-group bias and pussy begging men. We cannot capitalize on either of those phenomenon.

You'll pardon this insulting parallel but I think it rings true here. I say we at least need to make a good effort, and if we get shut down, then we can take that as it comes. This is exactly what the bluepill pack animals say to us about marriage/dating.

Every party needs a pooper and that why I came. Whats to stop them from banning you and any who look like you from actually maintaining such a page? I think this is stirring up a hornets nest of shit flinging that mgtow can do without. Whats 'stopping' opponents now is, probably, a lack of necessity. No one is trying to set their propaganda straight so there it sits to molder until someone comes along to upset it. Once we kick that hornets nest the page will garner attention and attract the prop…

Then I wish you luck on your Sisyphean task. That boulder wont get any lighter nor will you be fighting only the force of gravity. Do we really want people who trust wiki/rational wiki for information on social movements as part of our social movement? I know it sounds egotistical, and it is, but I dont think mgtow is for every tom dick and harry to pick up as a kind of rebellion against perceived negativity. We all want to go our own way and I cannot see the usefulness of making a singular ideal conception of mgtow for easy consumption. Making ourselves more mainstream by creating wikis to justify/explain our point of view…

I too read the manifesto. You know what the fundamental difference between us and him? He felt entitled to other peoples attention and access to women. He also felt total rejection from male spaces and hated them as much as he hated the women who spurned him. This mixed with severe psychological problems lead him to kill. We dont care about that here. We dont want womens attention or male approval. We want to discuss our opinions of society and these are what our opinions are. If you have a vali…

What entirely female government are referring to? I dont have to prove an all female government is feasible because the claim is one of general incompetence. Well its quite easy to dismiss their claims then. They assert that women do not possess the mental capacity to govern themselves, and their comparison is to the mental capacity of children. The second part of the assertion is that women will vote with their emotions over their logic. The first assertion is dismissable out of hand because women have demonstrated multiple times, historically and presently, that their governments are successful/stable. The second assertion can be dismissed because …

Ignorance is always forgiven, Frank Herbert is the author and the series is amazing, but my point about it and eugenics was a bit tongue in cheek. The dangers of unchecked eugenics is real enough without the magical metaphor the book paints. You should still read it if you like sci-fi.

All socially conscious eugenics supporters are afraid of becoming a mono-phenotype species. Some of us understand that the genetic diversity of humans is a check against single virus extinction events. Once you start clipping branches from the tree out of a desire to shape the future in your image you inevitably run into genocidal acts. I personally am not a supporter of eugenics because it will facilitate some kind of master race, which i will never be a part of, or to help vain people make des…

There's also rarely any slut shaming from women to other women, because then they would be attacking feminism. I think you have that backwards. This actually seems like a reasonable response to the husband hiding himself from receiving the divorce paperwork. I'd say most mgtow bow out of pua culture because its the antithesis of mgtow. PUA are modeling themselves on what they perceive women want and then act the part. Its total subservience to the woman's stated desires in the hopes one of them will reward you with a cookie. When and if they lie is really immaterial. once enough of the most...successful men 'go there own way' society will...realises it has given women too much power. I cant grasp it because you've provided no actual argument to support your position. You just keep re asserting your position over and over and over. A Christian must worship Jesus as the son of god and the one true way to heaven because thats what a Christian is defined as. There is empirical evidence to support that definition of a Christian in their holy book. Where is your body of evidence to support your proposition the way there is a body of evidence to support the definition of Christian?

If his "entire philosophy" is to not engage with women (read: MGTOW) and he decides to engage with women, then yes. How is this so hard to comprehend? Humans apportioning resources to benefit women is way older than feminism and runs a hell of a lot deeper than surface ideas. This feminism shit is just the application of new intellectual tools to old hats. Why would their patriarchy boogeyman ever let such a thing rise up? Technology did this shit to us and now we are force evolving social tools to deal with this wealth.

Unlikely, if you're in her life and you challenge her source of identity she will feel threatened by your presence more so than now. If distance from her rhetoric is really what youre seeking than long term reprogramming is the opposite of a good idea. You'll be slogging through all the accumulated factoids and rhetoric for months to find a core idea worth attacking. During that time she'll be spending aside time with your wife skewing all the stories in her favor.... and I suspect your wife won…

I dont think this is wise. Unless youre willing to put in the dedicated effort to sway this womans opinion all you'll be is an annoying man. I cant see a wife's friend being worth investing that kind of effort in. What value does changing her opinion add to your life?

Their personal identity is tied to their ideological position. It is necessary for them to have an unassailable position about their self. You cant dissuade them from their personal identity anymore than you could convince a religious nut that their god does not exist. In their world they know feminism is an accurate picture of the world. You cannot win this fight. You can grind it away if youre willing to reprogram a whole human.
/r/MGTOW21/03/15 03:26 PM

You treat them like religious zealots. Their ideology has the same presupposition based founding principal as any other cult. If you must deal with them you should stick to asking pointed questions ala the Socratic method. This way you avoid being pigeonholed into a stance they can feed off of.

"Can you demonstrate that something exists beyond the natural world." Show me an atom, a germ, an amoeba, a molecule. Without a microscope, you cannot. Spiritual, to me, is the acceptance of what is not merely natural. Can you demonstrate that something exists beyond the natural world. To heed the inner yearning of the soul for more than the bodies cravings. What is a soul? Where did it come from? What attributes have we discovered this soul has? To feel a mysterious yet gratifying curiosity for what is beyond our understanding. To perfect oneself by going above and beyond our base urges and craving. Religious moderation is a result of our accumulated knowledge of science and technology and doctrinal ignorance. Whether the believers are actual biblical literalists or cafeteria chritstians the social moorings stay the same. Both groups have hardline rules about the shape/form of a relationship. Since we agree that these modern religionists are all "pick the candy spit out the veggies" I assume these parents are ignoring all that advice that backs up our side of the argument.

The desire to have 'leaders' is a pretty common human weakness. I think it is a fairly accurate statement. Given what efforts have been put into the equalization of women's issues in regards to men, and the lack of efforts spent in equalizing mens issues in regards to women, it can be argued that the feminist lobby has failed to concern itself with men. VAWA, HeforShe, and a white house council for women all speak to a focused campaign to raise up women. That there are no equivalent such efforts in regards to issues faced by men is telling. By not creating t…

The feminist movement didn't come out of thin air, it first came from men, regardless of the reasons. So men built feminsim for women? That doesnt seem right. Well written and very supportable up until this point. Patriarchy doesn’t just punish women. It also places an unsustainable pressure on men to uphold a system that is rigid and stifling. It's not that I don't agree that the prevailing social paradigms put a lot of pressure on men to uphold their ancient duties. It's that the entire piece is written about how media representation foists onto men an unhealthy idea about stoicism and monsterdom, and then wraps it up by blaming men via "Patriarchy"…

Its called a conspiracy theory because it's such a widely encompassing idea in feminism that it may as well be the illuminati. Only a fool would suggest that patriarchial power structures arent real and still alive today, but when it's used to describe the mostly egalitarian systems of western democracies the word begins to lose real descriptive power. Patriarchy is the term used to describe the prevailing social institutions/forces that shape history and the modern world. It can be loosely defined as "The fact that power has been and continues to be concentrated in male hands and specifically removed from womens hands in order to subjugate and oppress women." Or, maybe the point is to trick the guy into having unprotected sex, since you're already "pregnant," and then become pregnant for real? Ding ding ding we have a winner! Classic entrapment maneuver where you make the risky seem safe and the prey falls for it. Even if it doesnt work as she plans there's always the "I had a miscarriage" card to be played.

/r/MensRights03/10/14 08:57 AM

Even with the sober notary its useless. Unless the app represents a binding contract to engage in sex the consent can be revoked post app. So even if you brought this app as evidence of consent to other party could assert the removal of consent and say you raped them for not stopping the sexual act. Its only use will be the 30 seconds pause to assess the situation.
/r/MensRights03/10/14 08:35 AM

It doesn't and it cant. Without a mechanism to test b.a.c. of the signatories its worthless. The screens could easily be navigated by a drunk person. It does ask for a password for verification but that's not a valid method of proving any aspect of the individual besides "they know their password."

Good2go. Its a pathetic attempt to secure consent prior to a sexual encounter. Problems with it include coercion to use the app can be argued, consent is not a binding contract and can be rescinded after using the app, the app does not provide a valid chain of evidence regarding a persons capability to give consent.

Not to mention that anyone could change their mind after agreeing on the app, and rightly so. Which means anyone can claim the withdrew consent after agreeing on the app. Which makes the app itself pointless. Oh no please mention it! This app is a ridiculous idea for that very reason. If consent can be withdrawn at all once the contract has been negotiated then its worthless. If consent cannot be withdrawn afterwards because of contractual obligations then you have bigger issues that will crop u…

In patriarchy theory the "lead from the front" style of male power is declared while the "hand that rocks the cradle rules the world" style of female power is ignored. I think of feminism as a very narrow slice of Evo-psych. They take what aspects they want from the broader scientific body and then disparage said body when it contradicts their ideological position. The same thing can be seen in evidential-creationists like Ken Ham or Eric Hovind where they will take a few disparate facts and declare them to invalidate all other facts.

I am a meritocratic fascist by choice of political ideology. I believe a minority of the best minds should rule absolutely over a finite number of things. Governance should facilitate the lowest layer of the hierarchy of needs for its citizens and that will require some of our brightest minds. I am a solipsistic by effectively being incapable of proving otherwise. I dont assert strongly that I am the only mind in existence but, that I am stuck with only my own thoughts and the assumption of thou…

Even those who pull fire alarms deserve to have a voice. Whether you can justify to yourself that what youre advocating isn't censorship is irrelevant. You are still asserting that a person shouldn't be allowed to speak publicly and share their ridiculous ideas with us. We must let these psychotic people speak so we can laugh at and know who these people are. Pushing ideas you oppose into holes only lets them fester and grow in secrecy.

I do love the "Which Amendment is most important" part because all amendments are considered equivalently necessary and important. To try and pigeonhole a person into declaring one is more important than the other is to fundamentally misunderstand why such rules exist in the first place. By framing the situation as an adversarial one, that will hurt rape victims, feminists create a psuedo-safe zone for their ideology to grow. A woman who was raped and handled fairly by the police is much less likely to be militant towards "Patriarchial government structures that oppress women" and thus less likely to contribute to the mob mentality. If more rapes actually get reported and dealt with then the feminist doctrine of female oppression unravels. It all about creating fear and mistrust…

Well put but a bit off from what I was asking. Thats how one would address feminisms hypocrisy in dealing with rape culture. Given the premise of rape culture and its position as a plank for other ideas within feminist theory how does one undermine the very idea of it? Take the presupposition argument for a god. If it's the foundation your opponent is building on it won't do to just dress down religion in general. One has to undermine the central pillar that is their presupposition, and how that…

Bluntly, and tactfully, explain your position and do not deviate from it. I work in a pharmacy with 25 employees, 4 men, and this is how I avoid it. By being consistently not interested or willing to entertain their desires they've stopped asking for special treatment. Some of the other guys will flirt or hang out with the female employees which leads to cliques and competition for membership in said cliques. Are you seriously saying women don't absorb an incredibly high amount of violence? How nice. Im saying that men absorb the lions share of violence. Our physiology is geared towards it with larger muscles and a denser bone structure. No. No I'm not. I'm using the analogy to say that a person who makes an effort to disperse Nazi propaganda is, by association with said propaganda, implying their tacit support for it. That's not the pertinent question to ask. The pertinent question is "How do people form a well regulated militia unless they have access to their own firearms?" The point of the amendment is to make sure the population can defend itself against outside aggression and internal tyranny. Well, there really is no such thing as an objective approach but you're reading a lot more malice into my philosophy than I intended. The policy problems are just the visible crust on a bad infection. For a lot of mgtow the policies are the first punch to the guts and upon further study we realize something deeper, that all women are like that. Women have different needs than men, different desires, and very different way of getting what they want. Acknowledging this is the first step to freedom from mens role as slave animal to women. Your thesis should be as neutral as possible if your teacher has an ace to grind. Something like "modern gender disparity while discussing issues of rape, jail, and parenting in regards to effects on men". This leaves you all the room you need to discuss this from a mans perspective while protecting you from immediate backlash.

I felt the same way. She was taken aback by the question and her response was canned at best. I prefer to phrase her intent thusly "Children will do best with a healthy male and female roles model to build heuristics off of." Parents can be anything on the spectrum but people need reference points.

If strict gender roles cause technological stagnation, how is it humans ever got past the caves and stone axes? Because one groups idea of gender roles was the most efficient/best one and it allowed surplus resources to be used for improving the tools. Law of averages means one group got it right for long enough to get us to this point of non necessity do gender roles.

TRP can probably only be defined as an is situation and not an ought. Red pill people are typically very independent so trying to find a single ought wouldn't be productive. Just one red pill mans opinion here as TRP changes different people differently. TRP is a matrix reference regarding a philosophical position on male/female interaction dynamics. In general it espouses a belief that all/most relationships are parasitic for men and advantageous for women. They aren't there to fight the insurgency they're there to absorb the collateral damage from it. We let the draftees take the hits on the streets while the proper warriors use the actionable intelligence to root it out. Attrition wins if you are willing to pay for it.

Entirely true, it'd be a ridiculous downgrade to our current model for force projection. Having a bunch of 'kids' nursing conscript syndrome wouldn't be useful as a fighting force but it could hold territory without too much trouble. We could use the superior force of volunteers to break opposition and roll in a few thousand troops to hold the land. It's not a great idea but it isn't one without benefits.
/r/MensRights23/03/14 04:29 PM

Anyone who doubts the draft is an easy switch to flip needs to think about how useful 100,000 more troops would have been during Iraq/Afghanistan. How many moms and dads would be publicly less than 100% behind a draft against the "Axis of Evil" circa 2004?

Does an 8 year old child really understand what was being done with him though? 8 years old is usually a pre sexual period in child development so initiating him into that world was throwing a baby into a pool to teach it to swim. That she continued to have sex with him as he aged into puberty will be cause for a number of disjointed ideas on sexuality ie. She slept with me when I was 8 so I can sleep with others who are eight.

I see A dilemma. I can't necessarily agree that your qualities of humans are what I would use to judge a persons status. All it really takes to be human is the proper DNA sequence. Parasites and scavengers are in our ancestral lineage as winners so it must also be in us. I do get your implied point though. Feminism as a constructed meme lacks all three traits except cooperation, women know how to cooperate.

I'm almost certain it made local news and she was "reprimanded" for her actions (getting caught) but this is MURICA! We killed a man the other day in Oklahoma for his wife slapping their daughter. None of this surprises me, or probably anyone else here. What is important is keeping your child safe and raising him away from these lessons. Her mother is her mother and unlikely to accept her own daughter is a user. She will continue to abuse your relationship with your son for her own profit, this is beyond your control for now. It's not really about the drugs as much as proving her competence to be the primary provider. I remember the days of being in the Mormon church and my life now as an anti-theist. People love to point out that only men can hold the priesthood or become church leaders but they're missing the in church point- "men need the priesthood to be closer to god whereas women do not because they're already so important". Abuse of power is the only way their CPS budget can grow. If they were having a real positive impact on the society they would put themselves out of a job, but if they cause the problems and push the blame on the parents then they get paid for it. We would break you in half if we started retaliating at full strength for the petty violence women perpetuate. You know what happens to men who hit women back in self defense? They get the shit kicked out of them by white knights or taken to jail for domestic violence. The system of punishment for offense is so skewed in women's favor that they c…

Its an evolutionary advantage now gone haywire. It behooves a small tribe to punish their incubators (female) less when defaulting on the social contract because that negatively impacts breeding. Worker ants (men) can be freely punished and used as an example to others with less loss. Now that we have 21st century rights and tech this old advantage makes us punish women less. Mistrust. Misogyny contains a facet of mistrust as well as hate. I mistrust women much more than I hate them, hate takes energy and will but mistrust is free, and those I hate are selectively chosen. Thats the crux of the opposite argument in a nut shell. Completely ignoring the phenomenon of female harem building as the opposite of male promiscuity. Women make the mating decisions so their use of enticement to maintain advantaged position makes sense. We can deny the patriarchy because feminist theory has not been able to meet their burden of evidence to prove it. Most people here agree that the genders have both been pigeonholed into a role, what we object to is the freeing of women from those roles while men remain locked in.

Obama hasn't had the power long enough to install this kind of deep seated and long ranging problems. Hate the man for what he's done all you want but, recognize that these policies are the result of years of systemic buildup. Little good ideas get piled up and what was once unthinkable becomes the norm. Both parties participated or were complicit in this process.

I blame guns and the more modern form of warfare. It's one thing to meet ones foes on an open field where mostly ones skills and preparation determined the outcome. With the advent of more distancing forms of war men had to disassociate themselves from the act and that dissonance was best handled by emotionally dead men, or men would become emotionally dead. I assert that there is something primal and inherently valuable in close range combat. Two people locked in an intimate struggle for surviv…

Women aren't expected to be weak. They can be weak or act weak but the society constantly tells girls that they're strong. The prohibition on male weakness is a reflection of survival instinct. A man who cries and whines about things which others dont is likely to be the weak point in a hunt or a war. No man wants to walk into battle beside a person whining away the time when serious stuff might require them to be stoic or self sacrificing in the face of death.

Perhaps I was too narrow when defining the use of deceptive makeup use to within a mating scenario. As a man I can't speak for a womans professed reasoning for lying about their appearance to the public, but I assume an action is taken to receive a positive outcome. Two things pop into my head 1. The person has an issue with their appearance and wants to masque/modify it to hide their perceived shortcoming. 2. They are seeking a pair bond/social advantage which humans give to 'pretty' people.

/r/MensRights08/01/14 08:28 PM

I think thats a false distinction. Women wear makeup specifically to lie about their appearance. Yes it is couched in less banal terms normally but the purpose of makeup is to deceive potential mates. If the woman beneath the makeup isn't the same woman who you are attracted to then dissolving the relationship is valid. The distinction between lying about ones job and ones appearance is in who does it for what reasons.

Schrodingers rapist says explicitly that a woman is best served by assuming all the men she will meet will be rapists until proven otherwise (an impossibility as it is proving a negative). When a woman declares in published writings that any vaginal penetration equivocates to rape it IS in fact calling all men rapists.
