I agree. Go checkout /r/nofap and it looks like a big giant mangina circlejerk.

Nofap is great if you focusing your sexual energy into your career/self-improvement. But if it causes you to go out and chase pussy, it's causing you to make irrational choices.

I believe in sexual transmutation, the ability to deny the sexual urge fully and channel it into activities. It's my goal to do this and funnel it into my writing, with which I hope to wake the world up to the truth about women and feminism.

With that said it's hard as hell and I just relapsed yesterday. And I would never tell others what to do, if beating it makes you happy then go for it.

The whole point of NoFap is to increase your libido and sexual confidence. It's not wrong, it just doesn't apply to MGTOW (it's actually the opposite of what you want, really).

So, for TRP, Seddit or other, similar groups, NoFap is a great idea. But yes, for MGTOW, it's probably not the best idea.

MGTOW should subscribe to the idea of YesFap as it reduces your desire for women, allowing you to focus more on yourself.

I dont think nofap is meant to work on such a short timescale. They talk about going three months before the addiction is broken.

The way I see it, if you define your masculinity on the basis of casual sex alone, you're not a man. You're a boy. Part of MGTOW is owning your own masculinity, not conforming it to female expectations.

There's many views on the subject, and I can't say any of them are wrong. Some folks do better without fap as they find it stimulates their overall arousal. I find that, for me, it's a good release valve when I start to get irrational thoughts on sexuality. I clear my head, and get back to the business of life.

Generally, however, I find that I have more energy overall if I don't do it, as my refractory period tends to go for hours. If I toss one off and then go to work, I'm bored, clumsy, and shy. On the other hand, if I edge (google edging or search the no-fap forum) before work, I increase my overall energy.

So I find that manipulating my "biological imperative", as denart4 so aptly put it, whether as rationality switch or an energy switch, is a handy skill to have. My sexuality ends up working for me, rather than the other way around.

The longer you stick with nofap the less you look at women in a sexual way. The first couple of weeks are brutal though.

Seems like you dont get it. NoFap is about pornography, in order to recover from pornography you have to stop masturbating for optimal results. In this process people discover that they have better mental clarity after 90 days because of the dopamine recovery/balance which happens.

Most of them also dont desire woman as they did before, they dont view them as sex objects as they used to (because of porn)

So i think nofap can "BENEFIT" Mgtow, it takes away your addiction to woman rather than increasing it.

Masturbation/Pornography does not tribute to your masculinity and so forth.

In short: The brain needs to recover 2 weeks after each orgasm, but most tend to fill that gap again with orgasm, in most case with porn. Which leads in the long term to lack of happiness and empathy.

not fabbing gives me sexual enegry, i use that energy to workout or just to stop procastination. You are right in that its much harder to keep your lizzard brain in chek when my dick is throbbing when just looking at females. but i enjoy having controle over my primal brain. I have also stoped getting drunk. i still have sex with women. But i am now becoming way more picky. Good luck Brother. enjoy your fapping without shame. buy a fleshligt .
