Let there be no mistake, you should be selfish.

The only way to prevent yourself from falling victim to gynocentrism is by being selfish. All too often are people shamed for it.

"You're selfish!" is the cry of the narcissist who wants to manipulate you for their own benefit, all while claiming moral superiority.

So the next time you're criticized for being selfish, laugh and continue on, respond with "so what?" Because the person asking is more than likely trying to mold you into what they want, and that's an all-around dick move.
