I've seen this in women a lot.

The problem is that anytime a woman sees herself or another woman working while a man isn't it triggeres a sense of resentment. It doesn't matter if the man put in a 12hr day, they don't see that.

They see poor mom slaving making dinner while the boys relax.

I know this from decades of personal experience with my own mother, if she's doing chores you better not let her see you relaxing just gtfo until she's done working.

The Andy Griffith show has a great episode where the aunt leaves Andy and Opi for a weeks or so to visit family. She fantasizes about coming back and finding a mess because deep down she wants to see the mess so she can feel important. These men need me and without me nothing around the house would ever get done.

She comes home finally and the house is spotless and she’s mortified! It turns out a lady in the neighborhood volunteered to come clean up and cook.

The point I’m trying to make is old school traditional mothers such as mine don’t see cleaning and washing dishes as oppressive. In fact they won’t let the men do it because we might mess something up lol.

My father works and my mothers stays home. They’re both respected, appreciated, and work hard. These feminist need to stop telling women how to live their lives.

I remember talking to some people recently and i essentially said “it’s funny how working your entire life for a company is liberating yet working your entire life for your family is oppression” they got a little bothered and we’re like well there’s more ways to live your life than just a company or a family and I responded “really?! What? Because unless you got yourself a whole bunch of money you’re going to have to work. And that’s not the mans fault, that’s just life.”

Just to be clear I know people have their jobs and go travel, or buy cars, or parachute, or whatever the hell and “that’s the life I’m living” my point being that ... you’re still gonna have to work to get money to do those things. Unless you’re part of the minority that just has fuck you money.
