Sure, some things are still valid today but most of it is outdated and it's lacking a lot of stuff which tradcucks and religious leaders are trying to compensate by interpreting the vague texts in a way that suits their agenda. But if everyone has their own interpretation, cherry picks what they want to believe in and completely ignore the parts they don't like then why do we even need a religion in the first place instead of letting everyone figure out for themselves how to best live their life ?

I think some Religion does have some good teachings and principals. However, they are also masked in delusions made to control you and get your money. I think it's best to study it and find what works for you.

The point of MGTOW and arguably religious traditions, is to turn inward for guidance not outward. It’s not an issue of whether MGTOW works with religion or doesn’t. It’s an issue of whether you work with MGTOW or if you work with whatever religious system you’re attracted to if any at all.

Religion can be a reason to go MGTOW, but personally, and this isn't against anyone who is religious and that's their motivation. But religion is a big red pill to take, because just like putting women on a pedestal, it's another cultural thing that exists that doesn't reflect or represent reality.

Not to say that religions don't have some RP ideas and valuable ideas of their own, which is pretty much the opinions of the people involved, but the magic part is, to me, nonsense.

The worst thing to do on MGTOW is to try to throw away any meaningful values you have. Whether you're religious or an atheist. There are plenty of religions that advice that men stay single. MGTOW merely binds all sorts of men under the banner of self improvement and a never ending avoidance of female attachment.

For me I was more or less forced to be Baptist when I was a child. I gotta admit that I hated going to church mostly because it was boring and it seemed to go on forever. I did gain some morals from it(to be fair I also gained a lot of morals from PBS kids shows as a child too and still catch myself watching stuff like Arthur and George Shrinks haha). So in all honesty I wouldn't completely hate religion; I just don't care for the whole "just believe" thing because my ADHD brain has enough imagination for that😂. But at the end of the day religion or not is up to you. Thanks for reading.

I think spirituality is more important. Believe in the universe, your own consciousness, your own peace, your own wisdom. Everyone should meditate and reduce the crazy, deluded thoughts running thru most of our minds.

It ultimately relies on you but reading ancient texts has only fueled me to be more MGTOW and motivated not surprising since much of these texts come from pre feminist era where women are put in their place and men had authority.

Religion became a tool of the state to control a population, wage war, and legitimize leadership.

Christ is lord, that's the truth whether or not it accords with MGTOW principles. Personally I think that since most of the disciples were basically MGTOW it's a hard sell that Christianity and MGTOW are opposed.
