It's been said before but I'll say it again: in SEA and other poorer regions you get a 2 point value bump but that's it. So the guy who is a 6 at home can suddenly get a girl who is a 7-8 in the Philippines.

Is that the position you want to be in? You have all the cultural problems, her family, the fact that you are supposed to be the ATM forever, and so on. But for the first couple of years she's happy to be on your arm because you're seen as an 8. It is not even close to being worth it.

He got visibly upset and muttered something about “it’s not always going to be so easy when you’re older”. I told him that’s more of a women’s issue with a smile and he didn’t bother me the rest of the flight.

I'm from SEA. I can say most women here still traditional, but still I don't recommend to marry if you're a man. And if you're foreigner I can guarantee you women here just see you as a wallet, well it maybe your genetics also can be considered but more or less it's your money since we're mostly poor. We live in same planet so here social media, gynocentric society, and slowly feminism elevate women Hypergamy. They want to have it all. They still want privilage of traditional role but they're act, told, and encouraged to be an independent women. The worse thing is that here is the paradise of white knight and simps everywhere. When I told that I don't think I will get married or just give them advice to avoid women and don't put them on pedestal, they will shame me like some retards who built a boat on a mountain. Yes. We actually have a tv show in here which tries to solve problems and many of them are cases in which a family is broken because of the wife's infidelity.
