For one, people want to attend sports as an escapism from the fridge of their daily lives, particularly now. People don't go to sports events to be preached, that's what churches and politics are for. And it's #blacklivesmatter, forgetting that this is a diverse country. Of course everyone else is going to be not too happy, especially if you're paying part of your hard earned money just to be told because you're not black, your life doesn't matter even though you go through the same hardships.
