Yesterday, I was walking to work from the parking garage (I work in a hospital). We're required to wear button-up shirts that fit horribly so it's really impossible to tell what our figures look like, but I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt since I had come straight from a coffee shop and planned to change into my uniform when I got there. On the way in, one of the women whom I know casually but not very well walked by so I said hi to her. She then walked up to me and said, "damn, I never noticed all that muscle underneath your uniform." She then started touching my arms and chest, not excessively, it just seemed a little strange to me. I wasn't really offended or anything, but the more I thought about it, this seems like the kind of thing where if the genders were reversed, I'd be either fired or at the very least sat down with HR. Am I totally off base here, or did she cross a line?
