We need to use the feminist narrative about equality to raise awareness about injustices that impact men. Laws are supposed to be gender neutral, yet studies have shown that men receive 60% longer sentences and are more likely to be incarcerated for the same crimes as women.

If you are convicted of a crime, your sentence should be the same as anyone else who is convicted of the same crime, gender should not be a factor, a crime is a crime. If sentences are applied equally to both genders based on the crime you are convicted of, I guarantee we will see a dramatic decrease in the outrageous sentence disparity that exists today.
