Fathers, please tell your male children about this. In fact, I think we should force boys in school to learn about this.

Take 2 kids, 1 boy and 1 girl, give them a dollar each. Then take the boys dollar and give it to the girl, and say, that is divorce. Then give them another dollar. Take it from the boy, and say that is child support. Repeat, this is alimony, aka maintenance.

The boys need to learn, its not worth playing the game.

Friggin pisses me off (and I'm a woman). Seen it recently -- couple were married 2 years, no kids, both were employed before they got married & had jobs the whole time, signed a pre-nup that his assets were his, hers were hers.

SHE has an affair. SHE gets to stay in the house (100% HIS - its in the pre-nup) during the divorce (11 months). During that time she SELLS (i.e. steals) most his furniture, TVs, appliances etc.

Still, HE has to pay HER a settlement and the stolen goods are treated as a separate case all together (i.e. nothing will ever happen to recover them / jail her / get the cash)

WTF!?!?! Seriously, WTF!?!?

It's fucked up. We (women) are our own people, and if we fuck things up, we deserve to face the consequences, not be coddled like little children who made a booboo and just didn't know any better. It's fucking insulting.

Well, the law is gender neutral. The reason that men tend to get the short-end is because, on average, they make more money.

If the tables we're turned, MRAs would be railing against the wage gap.
