Why is it that when a movie/show or even in modelling or any other industry (PlayBoy and Hugh Hefner for example) shows a woman nude or sexual or anything around that circle, the male writer/director is blamed and accused of objectifying women? The woman chose this right? She knew what she was doing and she got paid for it. She fully understood what was happening and consented to being filmed and "objectified" like that. She wasn't forced to do it. Or

They say the media is created in a way to objectify women. There are women working in these projects and agreed to this.

Moreover, a female singer comes out with a song that has lyrics calling her self all kinds of inappropriate words and talks about nothing but her body and how sexual she is. Most of the time these songs are accompanied by a music video that has women "objectifying" themselves. Sometimes the lyrics aren't related to the sexual music video but it is there either way. And somehow the latter is empowering and the first one isn't, despite that in both cases women chose to be sexualized and "objectified".

Why is it that when it is a movie or a show with a Male writer/director they are blamed for objectifying women but when it is a music video no one talks about it? Despite that in both cases the women chose this.
