This isn't a new idea.

It's the hypocrisy of feminists, and of women in general, that causes resistance in men.

The single thing that ties MRAs together is the fact that so many feminists, AND so many women, don't want equality. If they wanted what they claim to want, they would have nearly as much male support as female. If they didn't continue to minimize MRA and, generally, male gender issues, and telling us that men's issues can, AND SHOULD, be overlooked as inconsequential, if they didn't treat us like whining, immature little boys over legitimate men's issues, I believe men would have few issues with feminism. IF they didn't exude so much misandry, which simply has to engender (I couldn't resist.) so much resistance, and some misogyny in return, and hadn't done so for the past FIFTY YEARS, most men would be far less resentful, and far more supportive of equality for women - and men. If feminists who do show support for men's issues didn't pretend that the widespread misandry among feminists, women, and the culture at large aren't real feminists, aren't the true feminism, that theirs is the portion that, alone, speaks for all women, if they actually condemned radical feminists and general misandry in our culture...things would be very, very different. As it is, misandry is rampant in our culture, and feminism is the ultimate source.
