Let me be frank; I am not a troll nor a radfem. Rather, I'm a guy who's a worrywart empath, thinking of the worst-case scenarios.

Part of the anxiety I have is the concern of "male genetic disposability". As in, the fear that we could be genetically disposable and un-remarkable in relative to women.

It may stem from how media tends to popularise female-only parthenogenesis as a good and utopian thing. I don't think of myself as supporting gender essentialism and supremacy, since they disgust me. At the same time, the aforementioned parthenogenesis has made me... quite depressed, I don't know. Hence, I want to know whether males have genetic advantages over women, but not out of sexist domination and subjugation, but out of objective and scientific assurance that we are necessary (which is why one woman's opinion doesn't have the same weightage as a scientific consensus).

This leads me to CRISPR; I see CRISPR, genetic engineering, designer babies and the like as the "great equalizer", where all genetic advantages are nullified. However, as usual, I ponder on whether it could be equally successful for men AND women (like reducing X-linked disorders in, boosting immune systems in, and life expectancies of men, as well as other beneficial genes (such as those relating to intelligence)).

Do any of you know if research states it is possible to genetically-modify male AND female humans? Are there successful examples of both?
