well I think making fun of horrible stupidity, or things in general, will only make things worse - less effective. laughing at these things convinces your brain there really isnt that big of problem, since you laugh at them after all.

These guys are pretty much all cowards. They make up ridiculous straw men and constantly get facts wrong, then when they are called on it, they hide behind the "Oh, but I'm just a comedian doing the 23 skidoo" routine. Remember when Jon Stewart called Harry Truman a war criminal for dropping the atomic bomb and insinuated we should have started a land war in Japan?
