It's because men carry the burden of performance. If both men and women had trouble getting an orgasm, it would literally be a race to orgasm and whoever doesn't finish would be the loser. A lot of times it seems that women feel like victims of biology and it's on men to do everything in the way of providing and protecting since men are bigger and stronger and are tasked with the manual labor which includes making women feel comfortable and have orgasms.

Edit: Also, I'm not sure if "underestimated" was the word that you were looking for, but it's also because of this that male sexuality is seen as opportunistic and disgusting. Men can have sex with one woman and then immediately go out and have sex with a different woman and not bat an eye, but women typically want to own the entire man. That man is her man and he's responsible for getting her everything that she wants - resources, territory, protection, orgasms, you name it.

I also feel like I should add that it being harder for women to orgasm might be because it wasn’t/isn’t relevant or necessary for reproducing. If it was, nearly all the women that exist would find it easier to orgasm.

Because of the oral sex gap. Men just aren’t giving head as much as women are.

I constantly read things on here or talking to my friends irl about sex & the thing is fingering & oral are to women what piv is to men. For the vast majority the clitoris is where it’s at, and men assuming piv alone is enough creates a huge gap in pleasure. It’s like a woman only stimulating your shaft or around your genitals. Her clit = your dick.

Also lots of Women aren’t assertive enough/are too shy to ask for what they want. This lies with women & they need to speak up about it, but I’d say it’s 50/50. the man has to want to pleasure her aswell.

The fact that most people on this sub view sex as a transaction from the woman to the man shows where the pleasure is focused during sex. I’ve never heard of any relationship where sex is primarily for the woman’s pleasure and not the mans. They may exist but they are rare. It’s almost always somewhere between balanced and male-centric.

So yeah, if there is a push for some gender experiencing better sex, it should be for women. It sounds like you just like whining.

Because men usually don't talk about their struggles and because sex is still seen as a "guys' thing" that is mostly for men and not so much for women.

Also because male gender conditioning puts them into a really narrow borders of what "manliness" is and being emotional or caring about connection aren't "masculine". So, from one hand, it stops men from talking about it or even admitting it and, from the other, it creates a certain expectations and shapes how we all see them. You know, aggressive lusty creatures that don't care about "feeelz". And there are enough men who put a lot efforts into supporting and promoting this image.

Just because we can orgasm it isn't what is satisfying sex.
