I made a youtube presentation on this subject using the text from Lev 21:13-14. These two verses describe the criteria for the high priest’s wife, and as a bonus there is a list of women to avoid. Obviously the Levitical priesthood has been replaced by the royal priesthood, but the info is too good to ignore. The royal priesthood should marry: A virgin, who shares his beliefs. But he must also avoid a widow, a divorcee, a deflowered women, and a harlot. These 4 different categories of women are dealt with separately using examples from the scriptures.
