Hi everyone! For the past week, I've been making a serious effort to keep track of my attitude and see how it affects the people around me. Sometimes, I think I'm a bit blind to my tone, but by stopping every so often and asking myself how I sound, I've sadly realized that I get extremely short-tempered when I'm feeling stressed. It's absolutely not okay for me to be this way, though, and I really want to start working on it.

I think the best way for me to go about this would be to find some type of relaxing activity to do to bring myself back on track whenever I'm feeling out of control. Hopefully, as time passes, I won't need to resort to distracting myself, but I'm hoping this will be an effective way to start!

I was inspired by another user to think about doing some type of needlework, but I haven't worked on a full-fledged project in a couple years, although my mom did teach me how to knit/sew/embroider when I was younger. But I would love to take needlework up again and improve my "girl game" while also working on my temper (yay for multitasking!)

And that brings me to my question! I was wondering what projects you ladies were working on now or have worked on in the past that you would recommend to someone with only minimal experience in needlework. What were some of your first projects that you were really proud of or that you felt taught you a lot? I'd love any advice/recommendations/anything at all :)
