Hey everyone! Just when I think I "got it figured out", I need to return for more advice! Lol

Things have been so amazing the past while with myself (F43) and my BF (M42), that I don't want to "rock the boat" and create an issue that isn't there (together 1+ year, live seperatly). However, I worry that now we are spending TOO much time together, and I worry that will result in my bf not being as passionately attracted to me and thus detract from our sex life.

I love how close and bonded I feel to him now, and how he is responding to me, and that he clearly WANTS to be at my place. If he didn't, I assume he wouldn't be staying over for multiple days upon days. (note: he does have renovations going on at his house, so maybe my place is just cleaner and quieter?). However, I don't want to sacrifice the passion and the desire we typically have for day-to-day "boring" stability and comfort. A balance of both is my sweet spot.

I am sensing a bit of sexual disconnect now; he is interested, but it's more like a comforting and familiar romp where he is closing his eyes, while I play with his manhood to get him hard.

Is there a way to elegantly convey that some distance is probably healthy, especially for our sex life? Or should I be happy and grateful that my man, who previously has said he enjoys living alone and that he needs to "miss" his partner to maintain desire, is CHOOSING to spend so much time at my place. (He is working remotely from my place, plus we do fitness stuff together as well as regular couple things like dinner and adventures so it is a substantial amount of time, especially since we are still in a covid lockdown where I live and things are closed).

Does it come across as rejection to state simply that I think he should leave for a few days so we don't get bored of one another? I certainly don't want him feeling like I'm rejecting him because I want to passionately bang him every day!! I'm more worried his desire for me will lower and then he will look elsewhere for passionate encounters as I become the boring old-faithful.

Any tips on creating healthy distance to maintain desire in a covid lockdown? Do I covertly create the distance myself by telling him I am busy for a few days? Or is it better to overtly express my concerns as a problem and let him guide the solution? (He is a man who appreciates honesty and direct communication) Thank you.
