Hello Redpill.

Let me introduce myself first : I'm a 30's heterosexual male living in an european country. I've had 8 LTR til now. I work in real estate (although unemployed right now). I've discovered BDSM some years ago, but it was more a realization of something which is hardwired in me and putting word on some of my needs, than a discovery. I'm with my girl since 1 year now. She's 24, bisexual, and study to become a nurse. We have a GF/BF relationship and also a Dom/sub relationship. I continue to flirt and pickup other women, men or couple too (the theory in gaming different persons with or without my girlfriend, some openly kinky, other i don't know and must discover is quite interresting actually), as we love « adding » new partners to our play, so i try to stay up to date with relationship and pickup dynamics theories. You subreddit is quite polemical, but while i'm not agreeing to all your concept, i think you have some good ideas here.

BDSM play are one of the main thing in our mutual relationship definition (Male Dom, female sub in my case). Our dynamic, power exchange, cover bedroom activities and everyday life. My girl is a caretaker hence her chosen career. She take care of my needs, is trained to behave, and to be a « good person », and love to be treated like that.

I write here because a lot a thing I read here seems to share a lot of similarities with D/s relationship or even « taken in hand » relationship (see http://www.takeninhand.com/ ). D/s relationship or TiH relationship are mainly focused on relationship while Redpill seems to be more an « uncensored /r/seduction » with more concern on pickup and one night stand.

While as a community you seem to see the world as a whole with your theories, NAWALT (if I understand the term correctly) is my way of seeing the world, because the activities i practice can be quite damaging on an unwilling person. Some women want and above all, need to be dominated by a strong man. So i can give confirmation, if that's even needed, on a lot of things i read here : Importance of the Frame (the only thing that really matter IMO), Female looking for strong man, Female wanting and needing (the difference is important, and that's how we explain BDSM to guys discovering their girls are kinky) to be extremely submissive, woman wanting to be called out on their behavior even harem (sharing a strong male with others instead of exclusively being with a less strong male), is a reality I see everyday, all this this things exist, and woman tend to stay under radar cover with that (Blame feminists and societal pressure, slut-shaming etc ...).

So here's the question : Do any of you practice BDSM ? What's your view on that ? Some of you may only be familiar with the whips and chain and leather caricature. That's not what i'm talking about here, more on the mental aspect of BDSM (My style is actually more on the psychological side e.g. humiliation, training, interrogation, edge-play), if you want a good introduction on this kind of dynamics, the movie “Secretary” may give you some idea. It may be a little bit long to explain BDSM in this post (vast subject, lots of point of view), but if you need information, ask away, i will happily give you my insight on the subject.

TL;DR : I think BDSM and RedPill theories may share a lot of common idea. Do you practice BDSM ? How do you view BDSM dynamics and relationship ?
