TRP, I had an interesting conversation with the girl I'm dating and her guy friend. We were all hanging out in the hot tub at her apartment. We some how got on the subject of dating, and he started going into some light RP theory. He's the kind of guy who seems to embody RP naturally. I'm learning from him by way of osmosis.

At first I was afraid that he was going to end up outing me accidentally, or jinxing me. But then I remembered that I don't care, and I really have taken on these RP characteristics that I've been reading about, and not just faking the funk.

The girl wasn't getting it, so I had to break it down barney style for her. Explaining that a guy has to ignore a girl and have a life of his own, or fake it. She could not have disagreed more. So I gave her an example of a guy with no life, who would text every day, and fall all over himself to comply with her every request. The indignation on her face! But then it melted and she realized that we were right. It's so unattractive to be a nice guy. I wish I had taken my father's advice when I was 15. I'd be neck deep in pussy today if I had. But swallowing the red pill is harder the older you get I think. At 28, I'm a changed man. Thank you TRP!
