Go to cute girl's house to spend the night at her place. She's very confident and gives a lot of "I don't care about you" signals. She's the boy-ish kind. (see another post of mine regarding this chick if you really want more details)

A few hours pass by, shit test arrives: She goes to her laptop and starts talking to guys on Facebook. M = me; H = her.

m: what are you doing?

h: I'm bored, I wanna go in town to a club so I'm checking who's available.

-short 1-2 minutes pause cuz I'm baffled-

m: Ok, I'll leave then.

h: -stops looking at laptop- what? why?

m: I have work in the morning; I came to your place to see you, you wanna go out and waste the night. I'm not gonna sit here and wait for you to get home. Have fun!

h: -moves body towards me- No, wait, don't!

h: -small frown visible- you know this is emotional blackmail right?

m: -nods-

h: -leaves Facebook-

30 minutes pass, she puts some tango and tries to teach me to tango; the night culminating with second base.

My conclusion: I almost beta-ed out because I didn't know how to react; I risked it because what I did might suggest too much lack of interest, but it worked. By showing that I value myself more than I value her or her presence I kept frame.

Tl; dr: kept frame by risking, won.
