I'd also like to throw in a little meta-style housekeeping, since the topic's been broached:

For the love of all that is holy, before you decide to submit a link or a text post with a link to a story, do at least a cursory search through not only the front page of TRP as well as the "NEW" tab at the top of the page. I've seen where sometimes we have as many as 3 separate threads all talking about the same story/article at the same time.
If you need a tutorial on how to use "Do Not Link" or Redditlog, don't be ashamed to ask for one. Don't hot-link to articles, particularly articles on Femi-fisting, Huffington Post-Wall, or Jizzabel. Each new unique click generates revenue for them. If you wanna financially support women, you're better off stuffing dollars up a stripper's snatch, or worse, getting married.

Its takes a lot of consistent reading over a long period of time to fully understand TRP philosophy. My introduction to TRP was through watching Youtube videos and reading articles on MGTOW. The knowledge I obtained from Stardusk, Barbarossa, PsychologicalCynic and Sandman left me sufficiently schooled but unable to vent. TRP would burst out of me at random like a pastor overwhelmed by the holy ghost, I couldn't contain my anger. When I found this sub, I finally had the opportunity to vent and move past the anger phase.

MGTOW exposes the truth but does not attempt strategies to adapt to it, maintaining frame and game for example. It keeps a man stuck in a kind of internal purgatory where feelings of bitterness and hatred stew inside, and hinders interaction with people.

The shock of brutal reality will definitely leave newcomers in denial and many weak minds will refuse to entertain the concept of TRP simply because it offends, at best newcomers will be disillusioned and lost but only if they have the courage to entertain TRP. That is why the support of other men found in this sub is priceless.

But to the new guys if you are clueless as to TRP, learn as much as you can about hypergamy, shaming tactics, and try perusing MGTOW videos, articles and blogs. Its an excellent clarifying precursor to TRP.

Know that TRP is about self improvement, become a better man. Not about getting girls. Girls come as a byproduct of your improvement as a human being.

No matter how well intentioned you were OP - for the love of fuck - do not attempt to guide the new members when you yourself clearly do not yet fully understand what this sub is about. I fear for the future of this board when a post like this made it to the front page.

At least this much is clear: TRP is about sexual strategy.

It is not /r/becomeaman (the TRP endorsed board for self-improvement), it is not /r/seduction (a board that was killed by posts like the OP's: "it's not about girls, it's about inner game"), it is not /r/selfimprovement and it is not /r/selfhelp.

If you have a desire to improve yourself, then you should lift, read non-fiction books (there is a huge list of books that will help you across this sub. Start with Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, it's my personal favourite), network and set goals. After that, you just pursue your goals. It's fairly simple - perhaps not easy, but certainly simple. However, that's not what this sub is for. This sub endorses those things, because they are all important for MGTOW or men who simply want to spin plates, or men who want to find an LTR, but it does not exist solely for the discussion of self improvement. Try /r/redpillbooks, /r/bodybuilding or /r/fitness, in addition to the other subs.

And in reference to the stages of the pill, it really helps if you do some self evaluation to figure out which stage you are in and actually try to handle it/progress accordingly.

We get a lot of people stuck in the Anger stage, and understandably so, but patience and understanding only go so far. Want to whine like a bitch? Get treated like one.

There are some posts that look like they're written by 6 year olds. Nothing wrong with being a 6 year old red-piller, but you should still learn your grammar.
If you are in an emotional state, do not post. Just wait. Chill the fuck out, then post. If you are disrespectful to the people here, we will tell you to GFY. (When your tits are calm and your brain is functioning again, maybe you won't make that post at all.)

Your vision, knowledge and wisdom about how the humans interact will be challenged, embrace it.

There has been an uptick of users infringing on this. You're not here to redefine what TRP is. If some parts of it don't work for you, by all means re-adapt. But the knowledge contained here has been vetted and tempered by years of experience from many veterans in the game.

Understand that your disagreeing with them doesn't mean they're wrong. You were wrong about how life works before you found TRP. Remember that.

When you take the pill you will sooner or later enter the anger phase, vent if you need, but don't post feminism links out of hatred just to rant. Learn about women and forgive them for their nature.
