"I am smiling. You should see my angry face."

[–]Furrealyo4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This x100000.

"You've never seen me angry"

[–]1sardinemanR10 points11 points12 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've literally had situations where one woman has told me that she never sees me smile and another one (who probably couldn't hear the first one) tells me I'm always smiling.

In general, women are idiots and you can not take anything they say seriously. Treat it as any other shit test. Ignoring may be the best thing to do in this scenario.

[–]CleverNeologism 8 points9 points10 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women want to control your outward expression of emotions, because women feed off of that: their reality is emotional, and because of empathy, expressed emotion from you bleeds into theirs.

So, flip the script. It's not your responsibility to make their emotional reality, it's the opposite:

"I wish you'd smile more." "I wish you'd give me something to smile about."

If you want to black knight a feminist, SJW, or similar person, you can always come back (in obviously sarcastic tone) with "don't tone police me".

Lol I had a girl do this to me at the club.

My best friend, who's also a RP was at the club with me, and this same girl (who my friend made out with) literally shoves me aside and bad mouths me saying "Uhhh you need to move." I turn around with a big WTF look, and she realizes that it was me, starts hamstering and apologizing.

Now, either she did that on purpose to use me as a stepping stone to get to my friend (Keep in mind my friend is just getting all the attention, at this time I had my beta tendencies but knew about the red pill) or if she legit didn't know I was there is besides the point. My friend wouldn't give her attention, and for the rest of the night, she would berate me and accuse me of being salty towards her.

"Why do you always look so angry, smile more like _______"

I just ignored that shit. Hopefully it was the best call because I wasn't going to allow some girl use me for her emotional pleasure.

Perhaps she got insecure. Your friend had zero interest that night and she considered you bellow her and him (because you had beta tendencies). When you got angry and showed alpha signs she got confused.

Getting rejected twice in a row must suck, for her.

You know, I never looked at it like that lol. That's refefreshing to hear

[–]ColonelMitchell0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ah that would really grind my gears. Way to keep stoic.

[–]1favours_of_the_moon4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is passive aggression, imo.

She's crossed the line, been a cunt in some way, and now is trying to blame YOU for not liking it. Walk away.

[–]NidStyles1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep, very basic passive aggressive behavior. Ignore the women that throw that shit, because not worth the time. Don't even acknowledge their existence once they display this behavior.

People who always smile just seem like a giant doofus to me.

[–]ForgeAndTemper 8 points9 points10 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Totally agree; can't see why you're being downvoted. As this sub becomes more mainstream the ratio of performing clowns to lone rangers seems to be growing disproportionately out of hand; kind of like real society. Smiling and being overly social are traits of submission and femininity (when over-used).

[–]1PantsonFire1234[S] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes agreed. I prefer to display a more balanced set of expressions. When I'm smiling it's because I am heavily enjoying something. At that point my smile looks good because it comes from a place of confidence and honesty. When I smile just for the sake of smiling it doesn't hold the same effect.

"I smile at every beautiful woman" doesn't smile

[–]VikingOverlorde0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The other night, I was outside a bar smoking a cigarette. I was thinking about something, and an Irish guy saw me and told me I looked really angry. I didn't realize it, but I probably did look angry. So I relaxed my face a bit and thanked him for the heads up.

It's possible you actually do look angry, not unlike the female "resting bitch face"

[–]ModRedSovereign0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Post questions to /r/asktrp.

[–]asianmasaccount0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My response to this is always "it's just what my face looks like" with a smile and a shrug.

I get told this all the time hah, I definitely have resting bitch face (or more specifically I have its close cousin angry Asian man resting face)

[–]__ZEAL__0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Eh, just means you'll have the face down pat for being disappointed about B's on report cards if you have kids. There's an upside to everything bro

[–]2alisonstone-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Depends. Some people actually do have chronic bitch face and if that isn't the vibe you want to give to people it is helpful to know it so you can work on correcting that habit. Evaluate yourself in the mirror honestly or ask some of your male friends that can be trusted for their honest opinion.

[–]1PantsonFire1234[S] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think that's the case. If that would be true then I would hear it more often on a daily/weekly basis. I'm talking once a month or something.

A good example was with my ex. There were times where I held this stoic/serious expression. The kind of face I tend to make when I am thinking about my ambitions and current challenges/successes. She would eat it up. Get all shy and and flirty with me like some lovesick teenager. Telling me to look happy. When I did however, her attention would slowly drop again.
