Good and reasonable post.

If women weren't productive, private companies wouldn't hire them.

Except legally they have to. Positive discrimination rules means they have quotas to fill, with heavy fines for not doing.

[–]makethemsayayy 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah I honestly think if those quotas weren't there, no company would hire women. They will cry discrimination for normal workplace behavior and pose a huge lawsuit risk if they are upset or just feel like it. If you pay her the wage she earned, even if it is more than some men's pay, it won't be enough because she only sees the men at the top. And men end up just getting more work done, because they've been told since birth they HAVE to. If there weren't quotas like that, I doubt any company would hire them.

[–]babydocnorman 7 points8 points9 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Good post.

Opinions based on facts lead to good decisions that result in a productive life. Kind of sums up what TRP is about.

Opinions based on feelz lead to poor decisions that result in drama. Who does this sound like ... lol.

[–][deleted] 21 points22 points23 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

  1. Humor: Both men and women rate men as funnier than women in blind study.

  2. The workforce: Women's interpersonal competitiveness destroys all-female company.

No one wants a female boss, most of all not other women.

Women hire based on sexual competition, resulting in more attractive men and fewer attractive women.

And so on, with the overall picture that women's emotions and mating priorities undermine their performance.

  3. Rough sex. This one is a bit more complex, with a few different aspects to it. I don't feel like digging up actual articles for this one right now, but prior reading shows that women like to be dominated, which shouldn't be news to anyone here. As for whether that domination is generally regarded as degrading or not, that comes down to the individual woman and is less common.

Exactly right. Your linked statements are facts, with evidence to support.

[–]RPmatrix0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Oh the kids got a study involving 32 people!

Yep, proves it for sure!

Abstract

It has often been asserted, by both men and women, that men are funnier.

We explored two possible explanations for such a view, first testing whether men, when instructed to be as funny as possible, write funnier cartoon captions than do women, and second examining whether there is a tendency to falsely remember funny things as having been produced by men.

A total of 32 participants, half from each gender, wrote captions for 20 cartoons.

Raters then indicated the humor success of these captions. Raters of both genders found the captions written by males funnier, though this preference was significantly stronger among the male raters.

In the second experiment, male and female participants were presented with the funniest and least funny captions from the first experiment, along with the caption author's gender.

  • On a memory test, both females and males disproportionately misattributed the humorous captions to males and the nonhumorous captions to females.

>Men might think men are funnier because they actually find them so, but though women rated the captions written by males slightly higher,

our data suggest that they may regard men as funnier more because they falsely attribute funny things to them.

Yep, facts that go against what you thought they did! lol

You have Proved CrimsonCapn's example perfectly!

nice one!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You're really missing the point. For the sake of other readers I'll reply to your post.

In the first experiment, where no one knew which gender had written the captions the researchers found this:

Raters of both genders found the captions written by males funnier

I'll say it again, since you need it repeated: without knowing who had written the captions, both men and women rated captions written by men to be funnier.

The second experiment, which you so gleefully embolded, shows that men and women subjectively rate men as being funnier, but that's beside the point.

[–]RPmatrix-1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

, shows that men and women subjectively rate men as being funnier,

but that's beside the point.

really?

Question. A few minutes after offering my 7 word observation to this post I received a notice that I was banned from posting to offmychest (Have never had an inclination to in any case) for participating in a hate subreddit. Why is that?

[–]CrimsonCapn[S] 9 points10 points11 points 10 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Because the mods over there are offended by the philosophy over here.

[–]dewarsmaduro2 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I think the reference to "offense of philosophy" rather than even any specific comment whether objective or otherwise, is very accurate but also dangerously alarming and will be sadly contagious.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for getting that off your chest.

[–]the99percent13 points4 points5 points 10 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Really good post.. I tend to notice, truly successful people do not talk very much or have an opinion on anything. They deal with facts.

The unsuccessful always have an opinion on something or are trying methods based upon assumptions. Assumptions lead to pitfalls and mistakes.. do not make your plans on assumptions.. it will lead to disaster.

Thus, you need to get rid of the habit of stating your opinions. Just outright stop it. It serves no purpose or does you any good.

Also, Whenever someone states an opinion and tries to pass it off as a fact, one simple question will cut through the bullshit very quickly. Ask them: 'HOW DO YOU KNOW?'. Watch as their answer to this question becomes unbelievable, they become flustered, uninspiring and delivered with no confidence. Smile quietly to yourself.

You want to become successful, you need to learn how to cut through bullshit opinions and assumptions very fast and only deal with facts.

[–]CrimsonCapn[S] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I can't agree with this enough. I've seen this too. The people I know who spout their opinions in public, or get into arguments on FB or Twitter are generally the ones who I think to myself, "man, what happened to that guy/gal".

Great response. Thank you.

Thank you a thousand times for making this excellent post bro

It might be your first here but it's one of The Best I have read, especially being about a very important topic, the "logical fallacies" which are interspersed amongst TRP and some RPer's "beliefs", and IMO It's the "elephant in the room" here at TRP ,, and the examples you have chosen to use are perfect to demonstrate this problem which needed to be addressed, as you have today ,, and I thank you again, my crimson bro, for covering it so thoroughly and with such depth and clarity

I hope it enlightens many of our younger brothers and helps them understanding the difference between the fact aka 'truth', and an opinion/pov and the importance of knowing the difference

Great post ... thanks again crimson bro!

You point out that people say ALL women like rough sex, then clarify it for us as MOST women like rough sex? No shit.

There's the female mind, which argues from emotion. There's the male mind, which argues from logic. Then there's the extreme male mind, which requires that every single statement a person makes be 100% factual and logically consistent and it would help if you could "prove" it.

I get dummies all the time who want to tear apart my posts because I didn't use precise language. A lot of times I'm exaggerating for humorous effect. They don't get it.

There is no benefit to saying "this is my opinion". This is an internet forum. These are informal discussions. This is not a classroom or a laboratory. We are not in a court of law. There is no danger in someone saying "every woman likes rough sex". What's gonna happen? Is the guy reading that going to suddenly start forcing rough sex on women who don't want it? Is that what happens when someone reads a post on reddit? They just treat it as gospel?

Nope.

[–]CrimsonCapn[S] 8 points9 points10 points 10 years ago [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

Fair enough, we're safe here, and I guess it's understood that within our forum many opinion as fact statements are hyperbole. My point is this: if you take these statements outside of this arena, as I stated in the summary, you likely won't be taken seriously.

The end game, at least for me, is a change in our culture and way of thinking. If we state opinions as fact, how are we any different than the feminazis we so adamantly contest?

[–]TomDemian -7 points-7 points-7 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I've been posting on the internet for close to two decades. I've argued passionately over a lot of things. I've caused a handful of people to change their minds about some minor things.

We're not going to change the culture. We can't even change most people reading TRP. People don't want to change.

So just post like it doesn't matter, because it really doesn't.

[–]CrimsonCapn[S] 7 points8 points9 points 10 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Come on now, if that was true, we'd still be smoking and drinking at work and smacking our secretaries asses as they left our office. Change happens. In the case of feminism, the change has been too drastic. It needs a course correction. Red Pill exists because some of us have been convinced of this and decided to change.

People DO want to change, if they see that change is needed, and strong leaders rise up to lead them. My life has COMPLETELY changed because of this forum. It matters to me. You may not think so, but in contributing to this forum, your posts matter.

I think a lot of reformed blue pills here would agree with me.

[–]TomDemian-1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

It's easy to be a feminist, all you have to do is label yourself a victim.

It's hard to be fully TRP. Takes lots of hard work and discipline, and most people give up.

Trying to turn an entire culture around and make a nation of whining losers into productive disciplined people? I'd rather waste my time playing videogames.

[–]EXILED_SONS 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Agreed man, I like the way that this is covered in Gervais theory. That the 'clueless' people are incapable of reading between the lines and have to take everything literally. They have to have everything spelt out for them. Like you said, it's so 'masculine' that it's autistic; everyone requires at least some intuitive thinking in order to see the big picture and so on.

I understood what this post was trying to say, but ultimately it's just semantics. A whole post just to say we should use 'I think' to prefix articles, when everyone else knows it's implied anyway?

This 'clueless' brand of people, usually men, I find more infuriating than any woman or so called sociopath. They're the 'jobs-worths' and brown nose-ers of the world. The traffic wardens. The gate-keepers with faux-power that will abuse it just to feel important. There's a large amount of them here to be honest. Faux-alphas who don't have the big-picture skills necessary for leadership; and I guarantee any of them reading this now are smugly thinking 'heh not me'. Think Dwight from the office for anyone who's not read Gervais theory (you should).

[–]TomDemian 1 points1 points1 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Gervais theory

This is a pretty good read! Yeah, it's unfortunate that TRP doesn't have many big-picture guys. For a forum that preaches self-improvement, people seem to have a remarkably narrow definition of what that is.

[–]EXILED_SONS 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago [recovered] (9 children) | Copy Link

Gervais theory opened a lot of doors for me, so to speak. At one point a few months ago I was in very deep reading about that sort of stuff. It's like a second red pill to do with organisational theory, hierarchy, politics etc. It's not often talked about here in an out-right manner, but you can tell a lot of members here have sort of done it for themselves. They are a minority. A lot of even the endorsed people appear to be ignorant on this stuff.

As in life most people are 'losers' or 'cluesless' - so it is here. The chapter about sociopaths and the ripping off of 'masks' really speaks to me. It is a path I've been on and unfortunately, even in something like TRP, where literally anyone can join, it means there's a lot of noise. Most of us were 'losers' before coming here, but a lot of the clueless are just hopelessly lost. They have a need to follow in a cult manner. They are the ones who scream awalt when it's not relevant; they don't actually understand what's going on. They will be buying GLO shirts.

What's interesting to me is this ripping off of 'masks' is actually in line with a lot of eastern philosophy (buddhism, hinduism etc) I've been reading recently. To me, I think sociopaths are just those with stoic control over themselves, and society has named them sociopaths to make being 'alpha' or at peace with yourself , i.e. not buying things and competeing in the rat race a bad thing. Language is always used in warfare this way I suppose.

I think there's a lot of crossover between 'alphaness' and eastern philosophy. Some people here get that. Meditiation has become popular here for example. Maybe I should do a full post on this, but it would only speak to about 5% of the people here. All of those spiritual posts of any value get downvoted because they think it's got nothing to do with getting laid. Of course these people have missed the point. After a few months of this shit, getting laid becomes fairly easy; the rest of us come here to talk about big-boy stuff: politics, philosophy, business, 'enlightenment'.

For now, I can't really think of a better community to talk about this stuff with, but it's hardly ideal. It's like kids and adults sparring in the same class.

[–]RPmatrix1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bro, I really enjoy what you have to say, and as the only AFAIK "clinically diagnosed Buddhist inclined, meditating, sociopath" here, I'd like to say that I think you've nailed it with this comment!

VERY true! It seems the older members have forgotten their roots at times!

They have a need to follow in a cult manner. They are the ones who scream awalt when it's not relevant; they don't actually understand what's going on.

They will be buying GLO shirts.

bahahaha!

Sadly, you are SO correct! However, as you've noticed, "internet arguments" rarely get far however "useful information" shared onliine, can help another person immensely, it's not a matter of "winning" or "proving" anything, it's a matter of sharing knowledge which will help others succeed

So then, hopefully, if and when I bump into them one day, or must deal with them in any way, I'll enjoy their 'attitudes' rather than despise their tiny sheepish mentality's, be they male or female!

I'd be happy to discuss it via pm as I think the way you think is the way forward for It too wish to be a part of a

These are the only posts worth making. It's kind of unfortunate that they can't find an audience here. Most people don't have enough material to keep a blog updated regularly, so they can't build an audience. Mostly this great material just exists in our heads. I'll probably never make a thread here, I just put little bits of genius way down in comment threads that maybe a handful of people will ever see.

There's whole worlds of knowledge that TRP posters would find very useful. Psychedelic drugs alone would help a lot of people. A couple of psilocybin trips and having a conversation with yourself about all the stuff you're fucking up is a pretty good way to get on the right path. But so few are open-minded enough to even read the posts.

The only positive to the large numbers of clueless in every internet community is that they teach you how to exploit them. As you said, they're the ones buying the shirts. If you can get rid of that nagging voice in your head that tells you not to take advantage of people's stupidity, you can get rich selling to them. I'm still working on it.

[–]EXILED_SONS 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago [recovered] (6 children) | Copy Link

Yeah I know what you mean about comment wisdom. As it happens though, from this discussion I am piecing together a post that might eventually see daylight.

Drugs for me is a tricky one. Very young I had some bad times with weed and it really put me off anything harder. I still have mild anxiety problems sometimes when I let my guard down, for example, falling asleep, drunk etc. I have talked with friends who have tripped, and to be honest, I'm not sure what they have gained from it that I haven't by introspecting, meditating etc., but I'd love to hear if you have any thoughts on this.

As for exploitation, I really hear you there. I rationally know it makes sense but I don't feel drawn to that lifestyle. I feel more drawn to mentoring people rather than pushing them back down. Maybe I'm just naive.

[–]TomDemian 1 points1 points1 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I think tripping is much more useful for people who haven't reached certain conclusions on their own. Tripping helps their mind make the connections. The evidence is there, they just haven't put it together. Guys like us have reached those conclusions already. Tripping has never been an amazing "omg this is the truth" experience for me. But it's helped me see some mistakes I was making.

Now when I trip, I use it to get an honest unfiltered view of my life. And lately I've tried out "microdosing" where you don't take enough to "trip" but you still get the mental effects of the drug. It's been a tremendous boost to my creativity, I come up with a lot of new ideas and make a lot of connections between ideas after doing this.

I'm also prone to anxiety and I've had plenty of bad trips. The key is keeping the dose low. And using the appropriate drug. The "peak" on psilocybin mushrooms is about 2-3 hours - if it's a bad trip, it's only going to last for two hours before you start to come down. For purposes of self-improvement, the only psychedelic I'm ever going to use is psilocybin. LSD is more well-known, but the speediness of it and the different headspace you get into makes it more suited for having fun rather than being introspective. The other plant-based psychedelics are much more spiritual in nature.

I wouldn't say it's necessary for anyone who's already "enlightened", but if nothing else it's an interesting experience. There's little practical risk from taking a small dose of psilocybin. Erowid is the best site for researching it, but of course I'd be happy to answer questions.

[–]EXILED_SONS 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

Good points man. I'm going to be considering microdosing. I remember reading about it on nootropics. I've been on erowid before, but I always find it hard to track down just a shrooms trip; those guys seem to be taking so much at once, crazy psychonaughts.

And is that an appeal to nature fallacy I see there?

[–]TomDemian 1 points1 points1 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

The trip reports are fairly useless as far as giving you an idea of what to expect. Every trip is different. I just recommended it because it lists basic information like effects and dosage.

No appeal to nature fallacy here. It's just that every psychedelic drug works differently. LSD gives me perspective on my relationship with the universe. Psilocybin gives me perspective on myself. The latter is more useful for me.

That the 'clueless' people are incapable of reading between the lines and have to take everything literally. They have to have everything spelt out for them.

IDGAF for PC and I'm glad TRP remains unaffected by it, that said;

Alas, many of the 'new' and particularly 'younger' guys here without much (if any outside school) RL experience tend to take much of TRP literally as that's the only way they can ... at this stage of their lives.

It's certainly not their "fault" they're 17-18yo however I think that as TRP grows and evolves, such members should be considered as they are both important (being noobs) And the flagbearers of the 'future of TRP' and it's effect upon the sexual dynamics of the kids/generations to come

Because, IF they 'mis-take' (even some of) TRP's 'generalizations' (and they often DO) it can lead to trouble from simply misunderstanding, to totally improper application which may lead to Major Drama

The amount of MAJOR FUCK UPS I've seen "in life" due to someone being "mis-taken" or 'mis-taking' another person are extensive. When these 'mistakes' involve women the outcomes can become disastrous!

IMO members should be thoughtful when making these 'ambiguous' statements and although we may not need to consider being PC when posting here, we should do our best to be "clear" when we discuss our "opinions" (and, like arseholes, most people have one!)

opinions=/=facts

facts=/=feelings

opinions=feelings

The other thing is as TRP grows *that unless the Mods "sticky" posts like the one RedSchool has linked AND update the sidebars to reflect the development of RP ideas, we might as well be in 2012 again reading anachronistic data! Times are a changing and rather fast in my opinion and "we" need to keep abreast of them!

I thought the OP was bang on and I'm happy he raised his points so well

[–]ChairBorneMGTOW0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Agreed. Concern troll posting that we're not putting enough sensitive qualifiers in our discussion? Fucking lame.

[–]CrimsonCapn[S] 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nah I'm saying you're acting like an emotional girl if you state your opinion, which is how you "feelz", as if it's a fact.

[–]disposable_pants1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Men who state their opinions as fact seem angry and emotional, and aren't taken seriously. Men who deal in facts demand respect.

Think about the idea that "you practice like you play" -- if you write thousands of words in a particular style online your real-world communication will start to resemble that style. If you write reasonable, fact-based, unemotional posts here gradually it'll be easier to write papers, emails, etc. in that style. If you write unsupported, opinionated, lazy posts here your other work will begin to reflect that as well. You practice like you play.

I respect the fact you went there with your post.

Most would try and write something just to gain likes and votes instead of really pushing the dialogue and breaking things down from all angles. Even if it means it goes against us sometimes.

Its why I have no real issue with Roosh going his own route in trying to do something somewhat different. Yes, from a business stand point I get it and, I know it has its doubters yet, at the same time a shake up in things is needed in order for real change to be made so we ourselves don't become caught up in our own hype at times.

This was my problem a bit as well too when I found TRP. I didn't want help because IN MY OPINION I didn't think anything was wrong with me. It was those "other guys" that treated women like dirt that had the problem. So what they fuck them. It still wasn't right in MY OPINION. Sucks but, that was my mental back then.

It was my issue and I had to take a good look in the mirror and realize that. I had to come to terms with the fact that yes I could be or am wrong and needed to make critical changes towards more fact based and theory tested things instead of playing make believe in my own world because it felt good to say, hear, and think.

Growth only begins when pain is felt. Good and structural pain that can lead somewhere pass depression and anger at other people and women in general. It wasn't their fault it was mine. I found a way out of this whole thanks to TRP and for me to not even attempt to change despite the fact I know what is wrong with me would have been the real crime.

Stepping away from the Blue pill world helped saved my life and in the process helped me gain new focus and knowledge in myself that wasn't based on just trying to fuck everything that moves and throw away my limited time on this planet over some pussy that in reality is only good as long as we TELL IT its good.

Internalizing this information helped me break the constant cycle of worrying too much as to why GOD is not blessing me the same way he blessed those "other guys". I didn't get it because I was waiting for a miracle. Now, I just create my own and tell people to step out of my way if they are not ready to help.

Hear hear Pricus, I agree it's time "we" of TRP step up our game and threads like this are the beginning, and the OP has done a great job with this one about one of TRP's "elephants in the room"

it's good to have guys like yourself getting behind it too

cheers bro

Good post. Keep in mind, though, that TRP is like a men's locker-room. It's where men boast, and are arrogant, and tell tall tales, leaving out the parts that don't show them in a good light.

It feels good to generalize about half the world's population, especially if it's in a way that says you, some dude, are superior to half the population by way of having a penis and more t-count.

So while your aims are admirable, you're never going to "clean the place up" intellectually, as you're trying to do.

Generalizations work to simplify discussion. Piling on qualifiers is unnecessary here.

All Women Are Like That is analogous to Treat All Guns As If They Are Loaded.

I see no problem with the quotes you cite. They are useful, mostly accurate generalizations.

Don't like it? Then this isn't the right sub for you.

At least you qualified your opinion by saying "maybe".

[–]ChairBorneMGTOW-1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Edited to remove unnecessary qualifier. Thanks for pointing that out.

Qualifiers make writing more precise and generally better. Good writing skills are valuable. If you're going to do something, learn to do it well, especially when doing it well will have positive externalities elsewhere in life.

This reads an awful lot like tone policing.

We already operate under the understanding that a majority of our statements are nothing more than each individual's opinion. We already operate under the understanding that generalizations are generalizations.

This is a call to modify tone and language. I would rather our board communicate the way men tend to communicate than to focus on political correctness.

These posts are not allowed. Please do not concern troll. The race to political correctness is a race to the bottom.

For the record, women aren't funny.

Edit: I think your heart's in the right place, so you're not banned, but we're extra sensitive to tone policing. You can write your opinion on the pros and cons of powertalk vs straight talk (Because that's what you're actually doing here), but don't make the value judgement for me, I decide how I'm going to talk.

I didn't intend to tone police, rather to point out the difference between emotional statements and factual ones. There's a quote from a really old show, Dragnet, that illustrates my point. A woman is going on an on about how she feels about a crime that was committed, but Joe Friday cuts through the bullshit with: "All we want are the facts, ma'am."

That being said, I do see your point, and respect your authority and the warning. I'll admit, I'm slightly discouraged that a respected member of the RP community feels this way. Going forward I'll be even more conservative with my input.

What you need to understand isn't necessarily that you're wrong, it's that there's no point in making your point on our forum. You discuss that generalizations and opinions should be prefaced with modifiers to demonstrate that they are opinions or generalizations, but what it actually does is put is in an endless race to the bottom of political correctness to modify each thing we say to appease some special interest group.

When somebody posts a generalization or opinion on TRP, the context of the locker room talk is already that we are speaking in generalizations and opinions. It doesn't need to be beaten to death with modifying language.

In fact, it's been written about before- a hundred times.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/3fd3jt/generalizations_and_truth/

Trying to modify the lanague here to be more correct- or politically correct is a fools errand and one we don't take kindly to here. Understanding fully that this means the language may be more imprecise, you're more than welcome to ensure your own language is as precise as need be.

But once you start policing other people's language, we have now given an inch to the political correctness monster, and given an inch, it will continue until it takes every mile we've got.

We do not allow for it even 1%, lest we allow it to take over our entire discussion.

It is already understood what is meant when somebody says "women aren't funny." It's inherently subjective. Prefacing it with "I think" gives no additional information to the reader who can easily surmise that it's an opinion. Suggesting that others do is modifying language and tone, which for our protection is against the rules. Because that's exactly how feminists get a foothold in a forum

I'm slightly discouraged that a respected member of the RP community feels this way.

You should be really fucking happy that the head moderator of RP feels this way, because otherwise you've got yourself a shitfest of a fucking useless forum instead of a place where men can talk like men without fear of being too politicially incorrect. There's a reason we've grown, and it's not because we're sensitive to micro aggressions. Women aren't funny, and now we have a place to talk about it..

Understood.

Haha, OK, I get you.

I assure you, you're correct in your assessment that my heart is in the right place. Even if I was banned, I would still come here to absorb more information that has already entirely changed my life for the better.

To me not everything needs to be fact. Think about it like this... people have been meditating for HUNDREDS of years. Only until modern technology advanced did they PROVE that the way your mind works fundamentally changes when you meditate. How would you sound being the person back in the day that needed PROOF! One of the posters that replied to this post gave you studies of... for example that women and men both find men funnier. But a lot of people KNEW that before the study, and had excellent theory as to why (the theory goes that even if you ignore intelligence, men HAVE to be funnier because men can't rely on their looks).

Not everything has to be based in some scientific fact. A lot of the stuff in this subreddit literally can't be proven scientifically, or it relies on some study which we already know is going to go a certain way. If we live our lives based on studies, we'll always be behind the curve. Obviously this subreddit uses studies & facts because those are always better, but we should always rely on facts and also rely on our gut. You don't need to prove FACTUALLY your girlfriend is cheating on you, or that she isn't attracted to you when you do certain things, or if she respects you. Once you understand the general idea and hear about it from enough men and you see clear enough signs, you don't need to facutally prove it.. a gut feeling is enough. Some of the GREATEST ideas & inventions have became discovered and popular before there was actually technology to irrefutably back it up.
