There is some cognitive dissonance going on on trp and its that some posts strongly advocate molding ones actions around a reputation, which puts the focus solely on the perception of others. Then, other posts are outlining the basics of DGAF attitudes. Seems a bit conflicting, especially since the biggest problem of blue pill mentality is the seeking of others' approval. The whole reputation building is counter intuitive to frame holding and DGAF attitude. Showing no interest in others opinions shows a strong frame and makes one inclined to act in his own interest, and, inadvertently, others' interest, rather than what is socially expedient (when in reality seeking people's validation through being a people pleaser makes both you and others unhappy.)
