Last year, I bumped into a very interesting report about several adults who struggled in their dating lives (everyone in a different way) and used online dating to remedy their situation.

The entire video was basically one extensive confirmation of RP tenets, in fact, it was so blatant that I immediately had the urge to share the whole thing with you guys – the only flaw was that it wasn’t in English and didn’t have any subtitles either. However, last week, when I had too much time on my hands, I took it on myself to translate the whole thing since I couldn’t have you not having seen it on my conscience: Well, here it is.

At first I thought I’d make this thread a “red pill drinking game” (whenever something confirms to redpill theory, take a sip), but this would probably give us lots of cases of alcohol poisoning – but feel free to play redpill bingo with it if you’re inclined to do so - I ultimately decided to let it stand for itself and labeled it as a BP example, because that's what all the people in it are (well, except the gastronomist you meet later on, and to some extent the first guy).

A few remarks in advance:

  1. It’s long – 45 minutes all in all – so be prepared to spent a bit of time with it. When I checked it for the first time (it was more out of curiosity than anything else), I didn’t really intend to watch more than 10-15 minutes, but then I couldn’t stop – it was like a car crash unfolding in slow-motion before my eyes. So let’s just say in my opinion, it’s quite worth the time.
  2. The whole thing was, as mentioned, a report; it’s from the TV section of a high-profile liberal magazine in Germany. Odds are they didn’t intend to produce a piece of journalism that basically confirmed most of the stuff we’re talking about in here, but that’s how things are.
  3. I am not sure inhowfar they’ve rigged the events for a better story; but I guess they dabbled a bit (for example, I am very skeptical the first guy would have met with a woman like that without the prompting from the journalists).
  4. I was a bit lazy when it came to formatting the subtitles, so at times you’ll have walls of text that span over 15-30 seconds of talking time, simply because it was more convenient for me. I tried to be as faithful to the content as possible, the exception being when the people talking were repeating themselves or throwing in redundant phrases. But other than that (and the translation being, at times, probably a bit too clumsy) I didn’t add stuff or take it away – as things are, the lines are pretty enlightening on their own.
  5. German-speaking viewers will figure out pretty quickly where to find it if they want to see the original.

I will refrain from giving my 2c about the content and will just give you a few pointers about the protagonists:

  1. HA, aged 40, bachelor, financial consultant, silverback, flirt, soft spot for younger women.
  2. NS, aged 46, single mother of one, divorced, plate in the rotation of an Austrian gastronomist living in Switzerland. Pretty high standards.
  3. VR, aged 73, pensioner, has been married for 43 years, has been in a DBR situation, separated from his wive, tries to find a partner.
  4. SH, aged 39, divorced twice, no kids, got an artificial insemination because of her baby rabies, hopes to find a guy on the internet who would look forward to help her raise the child (not making this up).
