there are about a dozen subs, with tens of thousands of people. They exist for no reason but to link, brigade, mock, and project their failed relationships onto RP, and it's userbase. Upvotes are not a sign of quality, in fact, some of the best ones in TRP have been controversial as hell

Imma add something else too: there's alot of people in this sub who spend allot of time writing long posts and especially threads. A few are good threads, but the majority make me question...if you're so fucking alpha, why are you spending so much time on Reddit?

I agree. I am pretty critical of reddit as a vehicle to transmit knowledge. Its inherently democratic nature (every user irrespective of background and opinion has right to post, and 1 vote per person) has much appeal and is great to draw the crowds since the most appealing votes/comments rise to the top, but is very questionable for learning anything. There's simply too many contributions from people who think they know but are unaware they don't (I might be one, how can I know?) and may be upvoted to the top by similar people.

That's how this subreddit has been slowly but steadily misunderstanding many red pill concepts and as the misunderstanding goes uncheck, they steadily become new canon definitions that muddle the original teaching.

Contributions from endorsed contributors are a way to keep this in check but this is not optimal. Best thing you can do is check anything you read here against canon literature, that is, manosphere blogs (rational male, chateau heartiste, black dragon, illimitable men, etc. And particularly the older blogs/posts) and the sidebar (and of course against your own experience, NOT BELIEF, but experience).

There is a reason why the sidebar has an "endorsed contributors" section.

You ask readers to be critical, and then you tell them to rely on some badge of approval, which is decided by whom again? Not everyone with the badge is correct. And not everyone without the badge is wrong. Use your independent judgment. End of story.

I've learned that with the content in this sub everything should be taken with a grain of salt. Almost all of the theories TRP preaches should either be used in moderation or has numerous exceptions. Plus, not everyone is at the same level of swallowing the pill so what works for some won't work for everyone. For example, as a newbie, I made the mistake of thinking acting like an asshole all the time was going to win people over, but I'm not even attractive yet so instead of being the playful asshole everyone loves I was just being an asshole.

Many posts I see here are conjecture and theory, not conducive to RP principles at all. I take those posts with a grain of salt. It's posts backed with informative insight, facts and detail accounts of application that I hold in the highest regard.

Endorsed contributors are community members who, through careful vetting, have been flaired in order to draw attention to the quality of their writing. Whenever you read posts or comments on TRP, it is the voices of these men that you should pay the most attention to - not votes.
