Can I suggest pointing out the obvious, people during the day are either very preoccupied for caring to flirt for pick-up. Obviously in College thats less so the case, but still typically smart college students will reserve their pickup time for the bar, club meet up or house party at the end of the week.

Though to be fair if you have your shit together, carry yourself well, dress well, and dont look like a dodgy dude, there should be no harm in just being a little more forth coming, and initiating friendly convo.

My advice, just interrupt the beautiful ones to ask if they know where xyz is on campus. Then as soon as they tell you where xyz is or that they dont know, ask 'so what do you study round here?' then wing it from there, 'wanna grab a drink at the bar for happy hour?' Make the most of the no questions asked college flings while you're young I say.

Hear are some guidelines when you make eye contact with women as they are walking towards you. Follow them as the Alpha and Omega.

If they hold eye contact, that means they want you
If they look down, that means that hey are submissive and like you
If they turn their face sideways and pretend that they are not looking at you, it means that they expect you to make all the moves because they like you.
If they they laugh or smile when you wink at them, they desire you
If you blow creepy kisses at them and look at you with disgust, it means they are testing you because they like you.

keep doing it. the first time I realized, viscerally, that the red pill worked was when I made eye contact with a 5'10" HB 9.5 looking incredible walking down the street. She eye-locked with me as I walked past, a good 4-5 seconds. I'm 5'7" You got the feeling men did not look her in the eye. keep doing it.

first, I think you are to concerned with what how people are reacting and responding to you. You are assuming that just because some one is not making eye contact with you then there is something wrong or off. What you are failing to consider is set and setting.

what u/davevd is pretty spot on.

Most people men or women general avoid eye contact during the day when they are just out and about. Its very rare that they will make eye contact unless there is a reason, i.e. you open a door for them or you are waiting in a long line for coffee even then sometimes when they make eye contact they are not trying to flirt they just could be friendly, however you can generally gage if the eye contact is an opening for some to come talk to them or not and then once you are talking to them you can figure out what is up.

and

second, you can't just really on random eye contact, some times you have to be proactive and come up with a reason to make eye contact like u/davevd said if you see one you really like come up with a reason to talk to them.

So just relax, stay clam and cool and wait for the right time to make your move.
