The general concept of the red pill is about the sexual market place and thus in order to increase your success with women you should improve yourself in order to increase your SMV. Secondly confidence seems to be the primary trait that signals sexual market value as someone who appears to be confident is considered to be of high value ("why else would he be so confident?"). For confidence, fake it till you make it is generally accepted advice (besides obviously improving yourself by lifting etc so you truly have higher SMV). Also I read a lot about that you should improve for yourself and not put too much focus on women, however I find it a very important question how to get more women because sex is a basic need for humans. If I didn't care about women I should go MGTOW and this seems contrary to human nature. The reason I'm posting this question in TRP and not in /r/seduction is because I'm not interested fairy tales.
So I'm wondering what one can really do. I'm short (5"9), balding at 22 (literally balding, not receding hairline) and my teeth are not perfect after having been "fixed" with braces for a couple of years. I don't want to seem too depressed here, but I'm genuinely wondering if working on myself can improve my SMV to such an extent that really hot girls are attracted to me. What I mean is sure you can fake confidence all you can (behavior) and increase your SMV, but will it ever increase enough so that really hot girls are attracted to you? Where to draw the line between optimism (work harder, improve) and a realistic outlook?
