What ever happens, do not try and use logical reasoning to deal with this kind of thing.

Human relationships are not founded on logic. It is a waste of effort to try and logically argue someone's feelings away. This advice applies to any type of relationship.

Agree and amplify. Don't respond sincerely to those questions for the first month or so. At that stage it's definitely shit testing and not legitimate relationship talk in most cases. A girl that really likes you will be very careful about asking for fear of getting immediately chucked.

It's not ok with her.

She is free to walk; she is not entitled to have a relationship with you solely on her terms.

It's best in these situations to deflect, not have a conversation about her being in your harem. That only works if your SMV waaaaaay higher than hers and she is negotiating to keep you, or if she's bi and looks at the possibility of munching box with another of your plates...and even in those situations it doesn't always work.

Used too much overt communication. It's not an unrecoverable loss but your effort is better spent meeting new plates than trying to keep that one.
